This campground is in desperate need of some TLC. A lot of the spots have overgrown vegetation including a lot of poison oak. We had poison oak so close to our fire pit and tent we decided to leave and luckily found a great spot at panther flats up the road. This place has potential to be a good spot but needs some help.

Such a cool place. Nice spot to park, short walk to the water down a steep hill, but do able. Water was not moving to fast and was perfect temp. Sheer cliffs to look at and the wonderful water.

The campground is clean and has a good amount of privacy. The walk in camps, 2-5 or something like that, we very close to the freeway, so we stayed with our original reservation of #18. River access is a little tricky. It’s definitely not handicap accessible, but there is a day use beach across the bridge. The water is beautiful and it’s a very deep swimming hole, when you get down there! It was very worth the little hike!
