It's a very nice State Park small and it does have a nice pool. However, there's only one shower stall in each bathroom and only two toilets which is a problem if you camp in like a bigger group like we do and you have multiple people to get ready and other sites are trying to do the same. The rangers here are great especially the one that does the educational stuff she is super sweet.

If there were 6 stars, I would have given it 6. We use Pavilion 5. Come visit us there last Saturday in July. Fun creek for kids to play in. Crayfish if you are lucky.

Clean pool, quiet atmosphere, and perfect for family gatherings, as well as a quiet getaway, to forget about all the stress of life, even if just for a moment or two.

A family favorite for us. Visited many times. Always something to do no matter the time of year. The pool is always a refresher in this summer heat, they have a small ice cream shop in the pool area.Fishing is fantastic during early trout season! The hiking trails are nice, one day hope to do bucktail path trail. The forestry roads offer beautiful rides to look at wild life and the vista overlooks. I recommend doing it all here. Lots of picnic areas including everything from large pavilions to a grill and tables and the best part it's mostly all shaded; neat walking bridges and a good playground for the kiddos. This park is beautiful throughout all seasons. Love the winter especially. There is also horse shoes at at least one pavilion I am aware of if you bring your own which is a plus as well.

Another beautiful small State Park not far from home for me! They have a pool with a little snack stand open in the summer. Nice walking trails and beautiful trees!
