Cash only! This is a gorgeous spot - really well kept, treed sites. Nothing fancy but clean bathrooms and a beautiful pine forest.

The view from the parking lot on the Trans-Canada is absolutely stunning. Especially if there is a train going by along the opposite side of the river. Beautiful view of the mountains, river and canyon.

Scenic spot to stop in the Fraser Canyon overlooking the Thompson River and CNR/CPR Rail lines. Spent a night camped there.

Off the highway up a hill so very peaceful. Not highway or train noise. The Ponderosa Pine trees smell like vanilla or butterscotch. Their bark that is!

We stayed for 2 nights May long weekend. The campsite is beautiful and has a lot of spots. Surprisingly, even during the long weekend, there were still spots left. We got lucky and had one of the spots close to the cliff overlooking the river. They have flushing toilets and the campground was very clean overall. People running the camp were very nice and friendly, 23$/night, cash only, bundle of firewood was 12$. The only downside was the wind. It was constantly windy for our entire stay, with a few strong gusts. Apparently, this is normal in the area during the spring. I didn't mind the trains, actually, I felt like it added to the atmosphere. Traffic from the highway wasn't bad at all in my opinion. Would definitely go back at some point.

Stopped at the picnic area for lunch, park was very clean, and the picnic tables were spaced out so you didn't feel crowded , and the washrooms were very clean.

Huge level sites, paved road, lots of sites, Sani dump, potable water, great spacing, very quiet and private, cement steps to WASHROOMS, picnic area across Highway for large gatherings, camp operator has added personal touches.. Solar lights on some paths and potted plants dotted around. Great site for any size trailer, tent or any. Well laid out and labeled hiking trails which I'm sure would be great for pedal bikes by the looks of it.

Beautiful clean campground. Some sites in the trees and some with some nice wide open spots. Morning and afternoon sun. Great location with gorgeous views of the canyon. Flush toilets that were super clean and bundles of wood are available from the park host for $10. $23/night. Very quiet even with the trains below. Has a Sani station for $5 with drinking water as well.

It's a nice campground with some good campsites but most of them are pretty exposed so it's better for RV camping than tent camping. We did manage to find a site that was pretty private though. I would have given more stars except they limit how much wood you can buy to 2 a day & then we barely saw them coming around to sell more wood.

Stayed here for two nights. The park itself is stunning and very peaceful and beautiful. A wonderful campground. We had a good stay. We would give 5 stars except that the park host was very unwelcoming, unfriendly and sharp. I certainly would expect a little more basic friendliness and perhaps a little appreciation for our stay. Unfortunately the salty way in which we were treated will leave a negative impression on us about the park hosts.
