Great place for the family and kids. The owners are super cool and they put on some good events.

My family wanted a quiet night by a river. I called on a Thursday asking to stay Friday and Saturday night. The owner answered and said yes! Come on over and we’ll set you up by the river. When we got there, they showed us where the site was, got us wood, and drove me in their cart to get ice. We went to bingo both nights, fished, sat at a fire, and sang along at karaoke. The owners make you feel like you’ve been friends for years and the seasonal campers were extremely friendly. Thank you to Sleepy Creek for the relaxing weekend! We can’t wait to come back.

This family campground is located adjacent to the Potomac river in Berkeley Springs WV. It is 15 minutes south of Hancock MD. The amenities include beaches, a children’s playground, public toilet facilities throughout, bingo nightly on weekends, large family celebrations for holidays, and frequent bands on weekends. The owners are responsive to communication in timely manner. The campground is absolutely beautiful!

Wonderful place, a quaint mix between the middle of nowhere with the heartwarming sounds of trains. River access and a fully functional stage. The campers are very friendly and welcoming. I can’t wait to go back !!!!

Great spot to campout! Threw a little birthday party here last night, had some friends coming in at different times. The lady was very nice and let us pay in the morning because I wasn’t sure how many people were gonna show. She gave us a super private spot right on the river, and nobody bothered us. Peaceful, beautiful spot.

I like this campground is peaceful it's quiet the people are friendly there's also a lot to do in the summertime got bingo and got fishing tournaments for the kids . That's what makes it nice about this place . It's pet friendly and I think you would enjoy it if you came up and spend some time there along the river.

I have family that are members and I have always considered becoming a member. However, after seeing how they treat visitors, that will never happen. The place is a complete eyesore with old dilapidated campers, in a flood zone.

Since we looked at their website before booking our one night stay, we knew to not expect a bath house. Our motorhome has one. There are clean port-o-potties scattered about; very handy. The entire campground is well kept, with lots of mowed, grassy areas for our doggies. Potomac River is very accessible. The hostess is lovely; she went out of her way for our late arrival. With the stage area, it looks like a great place to hear some music. Trains go by regularly, which we loved. (Pretty sure it's the same track whick took President Lincoln's body home from Washington.) The campground is a bit off the beaten path, with winding roads and great scenery. Would love to stay again.

This is one of my favorite places to travel that's over three hours from my house. Great ownership keeps this place thriving because I always look forward to whatever new thing they've added since my last visit. Hopefully, next year we will be on the other side of COVID because the three large festivals they host are can't miss events. Thanks, Matti Brown for turning me onto this place.

We LOVE Sleepy Creek! We came to the Brokedown Float Down in '17 and had an amazing time listening to music and the hosts were just incredible! This year we came for the' 18 Spring Dig and it's even better! Tons of cool people and lots of great music. Thanks, Sleepy Creek!
