We may have found one of our go to campgrounds! We had a lot down by the creek, which was perfect! It was spacious, beautiful, and peaceful! Plenty of space for kids to ride their bikes around also, and the playground is huge!

Out of every place I've been camping, I think this place is the best. Even when they're at their busiest, you don't feel crowded ( at least rustic camping). The staff is always friendly, and the rates are very reasonably priced.

Saw this on a YouTube video made by some motorcycle campers. It looked scenic, they liked the site, and the location suited my motorcycle trip. Unfortunately I didn't check the rates. $38 seems like a lot for a basic tent site (no electric) + $20 key deposit to get through gate after 7PM. Cash only was somewhat inconvenient. I definitely was NOT a happy camper when my key DID NOT OPEN THE GATE when I returned at 7:50 PM. Because I had left my side bags at the site, I was narrow enough to squeeze between the end of the gate and the big rock. The next downside I experienced here was the truck noise. The campground is close enough to US6 that truck noise is pretty annoying. Because rain was predicted to start at nine, I got packed and was leaving then as the rain in fact started right on schedule. Unfortunately, the office was closed, so I couldn't get my $20 key deposit back unless I stood in the rain and waited for an hour. Several days later as I was heading home, I took a detour to get my $20. I won't come here again and I won't recommend it to any friends, but it is worth noting the the bathrooms were clean and the whole campground seemed pretty tidy and generally well run.

Ok so with a scale on 1to 10 I give this place a 9 for an awesome place to camp had a great time but my one stars are for the blond employee that works in office of the 2021 season very bad customer service and thinks she know everything so if you run into that one on your stay hope it's not her time of the month because a little argument lead's to getting red flagged here and what ever you say is wrong and she can Guarantee everything 😅😅 crazy sorry for the rant had to say something enjoy you stay

Absolutely love camping at Slumber Valley Campground. I camped here as a kid and loved it then and I love it now. Beautiful views of nature, taking in the aurora of the gentle Meshoppen Creek as it flows through the campground. Spending time camping at Slumber Valley is like going to heaven. It is a peaceful place to be. The campground staff and the Jennings family treat you like you are one of their own. Sites are a good size, have all the amenities that you need for a good get away!

One of my favorite camp grounds that I’ve been at (tent camping). Big private spots with a lot to do. The ponds fun to fish and the creek has some amazing views (and fishing as well). I wish I found out about this place sooner!

very large sites along the creek, just wish they had sewer hook ups but otherwise the place was good...the road around heading to the pond is pretty narrow but it works if you cant walk that far, although it is quite tight to turn around back there (in a truck) but again it will work if you are careful...maybe some parking up in that area would be nice since the waterfall overlook and the fishing pond are up there, its rough on handicap people to access that area without a vehicle as its all uphill... reasonably priced and spacious sites are very welcoming though!

Cool vibes. Great for kids. Night watchmen (I didn’t get his name) gave me a great recommendation for where to get a sandwich and was really helpful in helping me find a site. I made a reservation but got their after the office closed and he was really helpful. Also who ever I talked to in the office (when I made my reservation and after I checked out) was really great. Didn’t catch any names. Bathroom was super clean, and other people (at least in the tent site area where I was) were friendly and warm. 10/10
