Smith and Morehouse Campground

It's always a great weekend up at smith and morehouse. The camp hosts Deb and Del make it peaceful and are very kind. They are the best camp hosts I've ever had. They keep the camp very clean and are around if you need any help. They set up a fairy garden each year my kids love to go see. Last year Deb gave my kids paint and paint brushes and we painted a rock to remember our wonderful camping trip. I look forward to seeing Deb and Del next year. We have made this a yearly vacation spot. Deb and Del are the best!

My family absolutely loves love loves camping here at Smith and Morehouse. We have stayed here 3 years in a row. This year seemed so amazing! We had a wonderful camp host people. Deb and Del had this wonderful "fairy garden" and allowed all 4 of my children to pick glow in the dark rocks from the amazing garden. It was amazing. The hosts check on us but didn't feel overwhelming or as if they were bothering. I absolutely loved camping up there this week. The views were amazing as always. The air so much nicer up there. Not quite as clear as years past but still so amazing. The weather was perfect at the end of August for camping. We can't wait to visit again next year!! Hopefully we'll see Del and Deb again next year ad check out that wonderful fairy garden!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this campground. Deb and Del are fantastic hosts and made sure we were well taken care of. They greeted us shortly after our arrival and had individually wrapped chocolate filled marshmallows that they gave to the the kids. They had a small "fairy garden" at their campsite for the children to explore and encouraged them to take home one or two of the glow in the dark rocks. Even if this wasn't one of the more scenic campgrounds, and it is, Deb and Del would have made the trip worthwhile. I cannot say enough about how great they were and sincerely hope to see them again!

This was our first time here and we were so thrilled with the whole experience! First of all the place is beautiful!!! Then we met the campground hosts Deb and Del and they made the place feel special in so many ways! They’re very nice and helpful and make you feel very welcomed! Also they make it special for the kids who camp there by creating a special fairy garden for the kids to come visit and even pick their own glow in the dark stone from the fairy garden!Of all the years of camping these guys were by far the best and most wonderful campground hosts we have ever had the pleasure of getting to know. We hope to see them again next year because we plan on coming back! We came here with my parents and brother and his 2 boys and we all fell in love with it all! Also the facilities were the cleanest I have seen camping as well as cute and homey! The bathrooms all have beautiful petunia hanging baskets! Great place to camp!

We had such a wonderful time camping. We were happy to see the same camp hosts, Deb and Del, that were there last summer. They are really great. The campsite we reserved online didn't fit our needs as well and they were kind enough to let us know a different site was available and allowed us to switch. Our kids loved the fairy garden and getting glow in the dark fairy rocks. I was also happily surprised when they brought us a small treat and gave our kids bubbles and a coloring book. The campground is well maintained and has lots of shade. I don't love that it has out houses, but they are well maintained and that helps. We plan to go back next summer!
