The pool is reasonably priced and clean. There are improvements that could be made, but for the price it's a good value. My main complaint is with the teenaged staff. They don't seem to appreciate their jobs and are apathetic, bordering on rude. Some act entitled and inconvenienced by patrons. There is a need for serious work on customer service. Otherwise it was an enjoyable experience.

River visit: It's spread out water front ,grass and river bank. Little shaded area ,made up of a few pine trees in a couple of spots with flat wide mowed area between trees and run off ditches. A lot of room to throw a ball ,and plenty of parking. No charge , low key, swim at your own risk in the river. They do have a pool same area, but I haven't been to it.

We tent camped in site 56. The site was clean and mostly level. Each site has power, and water was close by. Bath houses were ok and mostly clean. Our really only complaint was there were not any hooks on the walls to hang your bag in the shower stalls. 1 of the 2 stalls has a bench you can set your bag, that's the one you want. The water pressure was great. Staff was nice and helpful. The office has anything you may need that you forgot.

We had last minute cancellations at a park for a birthday party..... I was told to contact Smith Lake Park to see if they had anything available. When I called they was very polite. When I went up there to pay for the pavilion they was still very nice and polite, they also was very helpful with the questions that I had. The day of the party all of the kids had fun, there was a playground area with slides, swings, etc. I noticed the day I paid for the pavilion and went to look at what I rented that The playground was on the small side. There is a lot of open area though so I took a ton of different balls...... The kids had enough room to play football, soccer, kickball, etc. All in all it turned out to be a great place to do a child's birthday party, only rated 4 stars because the playground is on the small side

Looks abandoned and nobody takes care of it, pool is dirty and bugs in showers and bathrooms. Looks like a redneck trailer park...

We had a awesome time with the family this weekend! But the only complaint is have is there roads and signs. They need to widened the road and make it where you dont have to go all the way around the park to get to where you need to go. The staff was super friendly and helpful!

My boyfriend and I are traveling the states, we planned to stay here for a week, sadly that didn’t work out. We only stayed for 3 days and we honestly did not like it from the beginning. The first night we pulled in, there was literally a meth head (or some sort of person on a strong drug), parked at the bathroom that literally sped away as soon as they saw us pull up, it happened multiple nights after that with different cars because the camp host does not do their job, they’re pretty much a waste of time. The facilities are nasty, neither of us felt comfortable to take a shower. Quiet hours are a waste of time, we had someone wake up at 2 in the morning, blaring music. This is NOT a campground you want to be at if you want seclusion at all, like any at all. The pictures online of the actual campsites are extremely deceiving. They made it look like there was space between campsites, with lots of trees and there was not. The campsites are ridiculously close, like you are literally right on top of your neighbors (literally tent to tent with people). The workers there know that the campgrounds are small and even when there’s lots of availability they still choose not to spread you out. You are not able to choose your own spot, even though they wanna say you can. We have been to MULTIPLE campsites and have never encountered one that we were this disappointed in. We understand that it’s a public campground, but we did expect better. The only decent part, it is cheap. We see now why it’s so cheap and after staying there, it makes sense. Overall, do NOT recommend.

I wish I could leave 6 or 7 stars. This is one of the nicest and best organized boat ramps I have ever used. It puts Ditto Landing in Huntsville to shame. This is a great boat launch!!! Thanks for allowing us to use it.

We went for Fourth of July and although it was crowded, it was totally great! The fireworks were amazing and the staff was helpful. Also, there were plenty of police everywhere so the environment felt 100%safe. We had a good time swimming and checking out the local vendors and live music!
