What a great park! We had a blast here! There are trails to walk on, a huge damn to check out, tons of open area, and a forest to explore! I definitely recommend this place for your next event or to just go walk around!

We loved having full hookups, which we don't usually get while camping at many parks. I especially appreciated the bathroom having soap, also rare at many campgrounds. The pumpkin and harvest decorations were a special, beautiful touch! Overall, the campground was extremely well maintained. It is clear the campground hosts go above and beyond!

This is our home away from home. We live in our 5th wheel camper full time. Park is full hookup, bathrooms are clean twice a day (morning & evenings), property is mowed regularly with grass no higher then 2.5 inches, sites have fire rings and are level. The camp host Chris & Janet Duncan very very friendly and helps when needed. Daily rates are $40, park is open from April thru October. You can walk the entire campground in .7 miles all level. Location is at the dam at Smithville lake. Fishing at spillway walking distance from campground. Booking/Reservation on the website where you put in your dates and select your site. We will be back.

This is an ok park. Finding the driveway and the campsite was the hard part. I've never seen a lay out like that before. On a positive note, it was great to watch all the kids play and ride bikes together. Showers and bathrooms were fine.

We enjoyed our one night stand. There were plenty of spots available with 20, 30, and 50 amperes⚡️ The area is well maintained, very friendly owner and neighbors. The bathrooms and showers were clean. Spots for fishing nearby. $40 a night. Each site has its own picnic table and a fire pit or grill. The only downside is there were thousands of flies that also got into our trailer.

Beautiful camp ground, Quiet and clean and hardly any bugs . And many things to do with the lake being right there or just relaxing. The hosts are friendly down home people that take pride in their Team that helps keep the site in great condition, We loved our stay and plan on coming back ❤️💯🇺🇸

We travel all over for my husbands work and have stayed at many campgrounds in different states this is by far the best stay we’ve had at a campground all because of the campground hosts Chris and Janet I cannot say enough about how well they take care of the campground we went through some bad storms including tornado warnings they were always there making sure the campers were safe by warning us of impending weather and making sure we all made it to the shelter when the tornadoes sirens went off in the midddle of night. First thing the next morning Chris was out picking up and clearing all the limbs and debris for the safety of everyone. The restroom/shower house and laundry facilities are always clean and sanitized they work very hard and it was very much appreciated. To top it all off they were the kindest campground hosts our family has encountered, they will stop and visit to make sure all is well and an absolute blessing towards our little girl she had a lot of fun with them. We look forward to staying whenever we are in town.

This park was nice! A few of the sites are "right" next to each other which you can barely tell on the sattelite because it looks like a single spot so be careful. The park host was extremely nice and helpful. We booked for 2 days but stayed 4 because it was nice and peaceful. Lots of shade trees. The town is small but has everything you need and b the lake is nice!
