We have stayed here over the last 4 years during Oct/Nov fall foliage season. The staff have always been very friendly and the campground is always well maintained. We spend a lot of time hiking the park trails and touring the surrounding area ( Cades Cove, Cherokee, and points in between). We like the location of the campground for accessing all these areas. We will be back next year!

We loved our stay at this campground..owners and staff very kind and always around to help very clean as well, and cleanest bathrooms i have ever experienced at a camp, Only slight downfall is some of the road noise but that isn't their fault and at night I rarely noticed since I sleep with a sound machine. Also at night there is less traffic and it was pretty quiet when we would sit and enjoy the fire. There are woods around too,hot tub, pool, and basket ball hoop, which in fall we only used the hot tub to warm up. We stayed for 4 nights in late October. I recommend this campground and will be staying in the future.

What a lovely staff and owners. We parked our camper and had such a great sight. The bathouse was the cleanest I've been in across the states. It also had a nice washroom. The gift shop was very affordable. The best part was the typed handout the owner went through the trouble to make of local eateries, sight seeing and mechanics. This was so thoughtful! We ended up needing the on site mechanic, Craig. He was so helpful, reasonably priced and most of all, honest. Last but not least, a great playground for the kids. The whole experience was top knotch.

This campground is great!! We have stayed in the cabins, which are very clean and comfy, and we have camped in our small travel trailer. The campground is very well maintained. The bathhouse is clean and roomy. The staff is great. It's very convenient to Gatlinburg. If you've never stayed here, give it a try. You won't be disappointed.

Spent two nights in late September with our 19-foot TT. The staff was friendly and accommodating and they provide really helpful information about the area. The bathrooms were awesome - clean and roomy with lots of hooks and a big mirror! The laundry room is nice too! We didn’t get around to using the pool and hot tub but they looked cozy and clean. It was a short ride to the Smoky Mountains where we had a great hike and enjoyed the town. We were given a discount because we paid with cash. This is a small campground so don’t expect to ride bikes or hike much. (There might be trails nearby but nothing within the campground itself.) But the sites are somewhat private and wooded and cozy. We would definitely go back if we were in the Gatlinburg area!

We aren’t usually RV park campers. Just not fans. But this campground is wonderful. We were in a pull through site that was level and easy for parking. The back in sites are really nice. The grounds are pretty with tulips and irises blooming. The playground and community fire circle area is very nice. The shower house is fresh and immaculate. One of the best I have encountered. The most impressive features of this campground are the owners and staff. Very friendly and knowledgeable folks who provide great information about the area. They truly care that their guests have an all around wonderful vacation experience. We highly recommend the Smoky Bear Campground.

Awesome campground! Highly recommend. About ten minutes from Rocky Top Sportsplex. The bathhouses are very clean and conveniently located in center. Quiet and the lots are spacious and private! Most of all, the staff is awesome. We had an issue with our slide out on our camper and the two workers helped us until we got it fixed!

Clean!!! Bath house and laundry was so great! Klaire and Patrick could not have been more kind, welcoming and knowledgeable! It’s a bit out of town (which makes it much quieter and peaceful) from the major touristy sights but an easy 20/30 min drive. I would definitely go back if we make our way back to gatlinburg! Good job guys!

We really enjoyed our time here while getting in some hikes at the National Park. The people who run the place were really helpful with info about different local hikes and where to walk our dog outside of the National Park area. We checked in after office hours and they were easy-going and flexible about it. You can purchase firewood after office hours with a payment drop box. The campground was clean and quiet, nice to come home to after our days in the BUSY NP and in the bustling downtown area of Gatlinburg.
