I stayed in one of the newly built cabins here. Far better pricing than the hotels & AirBnbs in the area. They have outfitted them with almost everything you need. For longer stays, there's a laundromat in the comfort station, $3/load. Single bedroom, living room with pullout sofa, kitchen with 2-burner hot stove and mini air fryer plus microwave, and a full bathroom with shower stall. Heat pump to keep you warm or cool. They're currently working on building their office, so there's no wi-fi. You're right on the bay. It's BEAUTIFUL!!

My camp site on the waterfront was amazing. The campground is very peaceful, but not catered towards children. The facilities are clean and in good shape, but the women's showers were finicky to say the least. I really wish they would fix that! Would definitely stay again, as long as i can get a waterfront spot

It was wonderful!! The ladies at the reception were very nice. The pitches/toilets/showers were very clean. I will definitely go back. But I wouldn't stay on the pitches at the center. There's no possibility of having a bit of shade. Not practical when you have pets. But that's my only small negative point.

Great camping site, lots of room for our trailer. Awesome staff members and fellow campers. Can't get a better deal for parking on the inlet. Lots of upgrades to the campground with new bath house and new office under construction.

We stayed here recently in one of the cabins at the campground. It was a lovely stay. The cabin was comfortable, clean, and well-stocked. The kitchenette area had a two-burner stove, a microwave, a kettle for using on the stove, a toaster oven, and plenty of dishes and utensils, plus there was an outside barbecue for us to use. The campground staff were really helpful, too. The beach area is mostly mudflats but it's super fun to explore and look at all the small crabs and clams and the view is beautiful. The campground is convenient to Nanaimo, but a little ways out of town, so it was great to come back and relax each day we were there and not feel like we were in the middle of town. We'd absolutely stay here again next time we're in the area!

If you want ANY privacy this site is NOT for you. RV are tightly packed together and the water and electricity is between two site they have to share it. Also, wifi is only available in their office. We asked the campground for full service but it only have partial service. There is no showers and only 2 single preson bathrooms for about 60 RV in the whole campground. Management is good and the waterfront is nice.

$36 for a tent site with no showers and field of dry grass is a bit expensive.
