It was very nice and i think it was well made. Some guy named Logan helped me learn a fishing technique from Mozambique to catch a massive bass.

My family stayed at Sned Acres- Wine Trail Campgrounds for a long weekend in August, 2025. We had a great time. Our site was perfect for our 5th wheel and in a great spot. The owners were very friendly and accommodating! There were plenty of things to do within the campground and its location is great for all the other things to do on the west side of Cayuga Lake. Our kids were all about fishing in the pond!

Sites are very poorly marked. One sign indicated go right at the first Y in the road, but at the next.... no sign, no indication of where what site is numbered what. Why is this an issue? The camp host had us go to our assigned site first, before check in. Sound great, but can't find our site. Eventually, they send someone over to get me to the right spot (site numbers on this row are not on the front of the power pedestal; may be on the back, but I didn't notice). Was given a back in site (I tow a motorcycle on a trailer, inconvenient to unstrap, offload, unhitch and then back in). But, given I was there a week, I took the back-in with the understanding that I'd hitch the trailer & load the bike the day before I leave, so I can just pull straight out. Was assured it was no problem. It was a problem. On this particular site, in the back, they have an 18-24" diameter, 6-8" high plastic device sticking out of the ground (am guessing it's water shutoff for that row). Motorcycle trailer has a very, very low clearance and I was unable to manuever around this object; so had to unstrap, offload the motorcycle, unhutch trailer, pull out, re-hitch trailer, load the bicke, strap it down. 2 hours late, we were on the road. The sites themselves, basically a modest amount of gravel on a grassy/dirt patch. Sites are never groomed, so ruts have appeared where wheels have worn the ground down. Makes the site particularly uneven. Adequate location, not really near anything (except the neighboring wineries). 20-30 min to any town for groceries and no view of the lake. It's ok, not really worth the price; I wouldn't return.

New owners of a nice campground. We were tenting, easy to drive stakes in. Pool was nice, nice game room for kids. Good central location for the finger lakes. The showers need to be replumbed but are adequate.

This campground served as a great base for us to explore the heart of the Finger lakes region in New York State. The longer we stayed, we were there for a week, the more I grew to like it. I think we ended up in the best section - at the edge of the campground, near the bathhouse and laundry, with lots of grass behind us, and the woods and small pond in front. I would definitely stay here again if in the area. The campground is in two sections, divided by the road leading to the campground. On one side is the office, mostly seasonal sites, and the pool. On the other side is mostly transient sites. Each side has a bath house. We were initially assigned site F-102. It was a FHU pull-through, but it was 3.1 degrees out of level side to side and 0.8 degrees front low. Since the site was so unlevel, I went to the office before setting up to see if there was another site that was more level. Justina was very nice and said there were two other sites that had availability for the week. We ended up on site #128. Back-in FHU, gravel, 50/30/20, pedestal just barely tall enough for watchdog to clear ground, power was stable even in 99 degree heat, 4" non-threaded sewer with slip-on cap, good water pressure, picnic table, fire ring, gravel patio. Sunny, no shade. Large open grassy area behind. Site spacing is on the generous side of standard commercial campgrounds at 45 feet. Straight parallel. 0.2 degrees side low, 1.0 degrees front low. Able to auto-level with no pads or ramps. Quiet - no road noise. There are large dumpsters at the entrance to transient section as well as a recycling shed. A disc golf course wanders throughout the campground. In the seasonal section, there is a grass volleyball court, a children’s playground, a basketball goal, tetherball, and the pool. The large grass areas in front of the seasonal campers row, and behind the transient back-in row, really add to the spacious feeling of the campground. They had 2 top-loading washers, 3 dryers, $1.50 / load. The bathrooms were clean, the showers a bit dated, but clean. Verizon - 31.6 Mbps down, 1.44 Mbps up, 2 bars LTE; AT&T - 2.71 Mbps down, 0.22 Mbps up, which is basically all but unusable. Camground WiFi 42.53 Mbps down and 10.18 Mbps up. Big rig friendly. The campground recently changed ownership and changed the name to Wine Trail Campground. I felt their service was excellent. Dean's Cove Boat Launch is 3.5 miles away. This was a convenient place for us to launch our kayaks. Lake Country Sales Market is 3.8 miles away with a good selection, surprisingly affordable pricing, and really nice people.

Under new management, no named winetrail campground. The pool was out of service being worked on and was not told about this on check in. Rain had pooled in the camp spot and it took a day and reminding the new management about the issue to take care of it. Very quiet not many campers at this time. Stayed here four years in a row not sure if we will do it again.

My husband and I are traveling by car and we had to go back for one night. It was a very clean and pleasant place where we were greeted with kindness and hospitality by very nice and pleasant people. The location is very nice and cozy, there is hot and cold water, a toilet and a small pool. I saw how people care about this place and their guests. I will highly recommend

Nice campground! We're up on a hill and have a view of Cayuga Lake in the distance. Site is grassy and is level. Owners and workers super nice. Camp store is well stocked. Play areas for kids. Ponds for catch and release. Pool. We would rate this a 12!!

What a great family owned campground right by Cayuga Lake. Large spots, very well maintained, staff friendly and accommodating. Only complaint; some areas could use some updating. Pool, playground, and arcade center. With that said, they were all spotlessly clean, just a bit dated. Laundry and public washrooms clean! They give you a homemade friendship bread when you check in which is amazingly delicious! We will be back
