First I want to say the campground itself is awesome great place for the kids and adults alike. I loved the water balloon war area that was a blast but the service at check-in in anytime we were in the store. They were very rude and unfriendly we did not feel very welcome. And were a bit uncomfortable. Also cost me $140 for 2 nights in a pop up for 3 adults and a 4 yr old a bit much.

Two months ago, our family decided to come back to Snow Lake Campground where we use to take our kids, 15 years ago. We were very excited about sharing this place with their kids (our grandkids.) When we made the reservations for the park models, we were not sure which kids were coming yet. When we arrived, my reservation was for 4. We weren't sure if my 10 yr old neice's were sleeping in our cabin or not so I left it at 4. I went to check out the park model. I came back to the office an hour later to ask my questions. When I asked the office employees if my nieces could come to our cabin, she said that's fine. Then she asked how many people my sister-n-law had, I said 8. The office lady said well, she is going to have to tell someone they have to stay home because she cannot have more then 7 (website says 8). I asked if we could move my niece to my cabin since we are unsure where she wanted to stay. She said "no, you already signed your paperwork". I can understand them wanting to know the count of people per park model but what was the big deal on switching the count only 1 hour after my reservation. None of these rules are on the website, neither is paying "extra" for people last 6. We made it work. Website says you can have up to 8.. We didn't want to deal with the not-so-friendly older lady in the office so we just paid the extra money. The cabin size was nice. No dish towels or sponges so bring your own. We did find a sheet on the pull out sofa so not sure when it was cleaned last. Lots of activities for the kids. Seasonal\Permanent residents seemed very welcoming. The kids had fun, although we had to go to the office again and explain we provided the incorrect count of ages of kids\adults because they refuse to give us wristbands for all 7 people in the park model. We went to leave Sunday morning an realized, they never gave us check-out instructions. There was no key drop and the office was closed. Had to go back to the cabin to give the key to another family member so we could head out.

This a campground for people with tents, pop up campers, pull behind trailers and even destination campers for those who want to camp for the season. On addition, there are cabins and double wide places to rent if you are so inclined. Weekends have planned activities for all ages of campers. There are a lot of rules but for me, that's what makes it a nice family place.

There are lots of great things to say about this campground. We loved all the fun activities for kids- pool, playground, giant Battleship and Chess, shuffle board, mini golf, water wars, checkers, duck derby, fishing pond. The roads were safe for the kids to ride their bikes all around the campground. We also loved that everything was affordable- from the laundry room ($1.75 wash/ $1.00 dry) to the camp store, and all the outdoor games are free to use (you just have to checkout all the game pieces at the camp store). There are activities every weekend. There was a petting zoo with horseback rides and a live band when we went. The staff were all very friendly, as were most of the other campers and seasonal who live there. We were disappointed in the set up of our actual campsite. The sewers were so close to other campers. Kind of gross watching your neighbor’s bathroom waste flowing right next to your picnic table. There could have been more thought put into the layout and spacing of the campsites. There were also tons of flies and mosquitos. If you’re traveling in the summer, bring lots of bug repellent. The arcade game room could have been a nice feature, but it smelled awful in there. The showers could also use updating. The faucets are the ones where you have to keep pushing the button to get water flow. Makes it a bit hard to shower when the water shuts off every 15 seconds. They do have a gym, but it’s only accessible during the office hours because you need a key to get in. It wasn’t really worth it because all the equipment is old or broken. The cardio machines are actually unsafe to use. There were cobwebs and dust covering everything in there. It would be a great amenity to have if they updated the equipment. We also had an unpleasant experience with a couple of season residents who yelled at our kids in the pool and kept watching them. Overall, it was a nice campground with lots of family friendly activities. Great for a short camping trip with the kids.

Staff were very rude throughout the whole campground. We've stayed here before and it's very kid friendly. If only the staff were kid friendly. The sites are very close together. Our picnic table was right next to someone's "dump" tube. The pool and hot tub were dirty. The "police golf cart" complete with flashing red and blue lights scared the kids (6-12 y/o) to get them off the playground. As I said, we've stayed here before but hoped that maybe it was just a bad experience weekend. Unfortunately it seems this is the norm. If you want good family fun that's within driving distance of snow lake look into Tyler Creek Campground.

Absolutely joke of a camp ground. Changes the cabin policy the day we are supposed to come up with our two dogs that were going to he staying in the truck in kennels no where near their cabins. If I could give them a negative 100 star that wouldn't justify it. Way to ruin a trip snowlake camp ground. Real class act.

Snow Lake was a great campground! My wife booked us there for 7 weeks this summer. We utilized it throughout the week a few times, but mostly every weekend. The kids' activities on the weekend were pretty cool. They also do a family hay ride and a teen hay ride on Saturday night, weather permitting. Pool, hot tub, sauna, shuffleboard, just to name a few other things they have to offer, plus many more! Kayaked around Snow Lake when I could, did some fishing. Caught a couple nice crappie! All in all, it was a great summer. I hope to do it again next year!

We stayed at Snows lake Kampground for Labor Day weekend. We rented a cabin. The cabin was very nice and was perfect for our small family get away. The service was not the greatest. The front desk ladies were not welcoming or kind. They do not allow visitors which was very disappointing as we were there celebrating our toddlers birthday. They had a food truck at the campground for the day but they were VERY overpriced and only took cash, the ATM at the store was out of order so a lot of campers couldn’t even try the truck. They did have lots of events that my son enjoyed. The pool was very busy, cold, and seemed dirty. We rode a tractor ride and a kid sitting next to us dropped his phone. The refused to stop for him and when we got back to camp they made him ride his bike to get it alone. They said “we don’t stop for anyone”. This seemed very disrespectful as the child was in tears. We had friends that wanted to camp with us but the office said they were booked up. The whole weekend three sites next to us were vacant and opened. We ended up leaving a day early. They also said no dogs at the cabins but get our neighbors had their dogs. The playground had puke in it from prior kids playing. Just seemed very unsanitary. My son enjoyed his birthday weekend but we wish some times went different. We will not visit the campground again.

We tent camped as a family for the 4th! We had an amazing time! So many planned activities for kids, a lake, pond, putt putt golf, shuffle board, and more! The kids and adults loved their Sunday church service as well. The camp does have a lot of rules but it creates a nice and safe environment for families. The camp was quiet and clean. This is a small little community with a quaint small town feel. We make snow lake an annual place for some family fun! Thanks again snow lake for hosting us! Can’t wait to see you all next year!

In short, Snow Lake Kampground is a self contained, all ages vacation spot. Great family atmosphere. Loads of fun things to play on, lots of scheduled activities and theme weekends and a chapel building for a weekly non-denominational Sunday worship service to enjoy. They have a "Western town" play area complete with general store, church, saloon, bank and jail, kiddie pool, regular pool, sauna, mini golf, shuffle board, duck derby, water balloon launchers, horse shoes, beech volleyball, fishing pond, playground, sandbox, camp store, laundry facilities just to name a few things. Seasonal, monthly and daily rates available. Sites are all full hookup. Don't have an RV? No worries, they have rentals too.

I worked for Snow Lake campground this summer of 2021. It was a great experience and a wonderful work environment. The owner is one of the best people to work for and all of the maintenance staff are pleasant and work both as a team and independently. I wish that summer didn't have to end and I could work year round here. I'm not looking forward to working anywhere else and I hope I'm able to return here next April. So in my words, Great place to work, great people to work with, and no better environment to work in. Darrin Esch Maintenance technician.

Overall camp ground is decent. I'd give it a 3.5 out of 5 stars. However what kills it for me is the rude and disrespectful old ladies at the pool. Maybe if they worried about themselves instead of every little thing others did we would consider coming back. I seen the two of them tell someone they had to leave due to having sparkling water (it's 90 degrees out and 100% humidity) followed by telling another gal she couldn't have a can of sun block (it was in a wagon). Signs ever where say no life guard on duty, swim at your own risk. However do these old ladies work here? If not you guys seriously need to get your people in check. Personally for me, they ruined it with yelling at a kid to sit down on a slide when he just got to the top not even a second before she started yelling at him and telling parents "they need to watch their kids". Sad it seems to be an ongoing issue based off other reviews. Can only imagine how much business this trailer park set up has lost.

Beautiful, peaceful campground. The rules are very reasonable- don’t know why people think they aren’t(don’t have any decency in the first place?) every Saturday has activities for the kids, making it perfect for a fun family time!

That was a great clean and well maintained. It has many amenities. Such as a main General Store that includes laundry facilities. The children have a large playground and a small Western Village to spark children's imagination. A clean heated swimming for children and adults. Adult only hot tub and a waiting pool for the kitties. If that's not enough you can work up a sweat in the exercise room with some nice equipment including elliptical there was treadmills and bicycles. The campground has planned activities included with your Campground pass such as hayrides dancing and concerts where are available.

Nice and peaceful. Great quiet getaway.
