Owners are fantastic people. Slightly outside the town of Greer but easy access as the RV park sits on the road in and out of town. Deer, antelope and other wildlife in abundance!

Wonderful place to camp and relax in the cool mountain air! Very friendly hosts, especially Sarah. She even offered us some organic veggies from her garden. Very helpful when I found we lost one of our sewer hoses. Only 6 sites and some are long term. Be sure to reserve way ahead. They are right along 373 North of Greer, but they have a fence that keeps the lights and noise from the road down and it's quiet at night. The electric is regulated well, but power can drop out for a few secs at night - happened twice, but it is the mountain power, not Snowy Mountain. They are planning to put in a backup generator in the future. They've done a lot of improvements already since they took the place over 3 years ago. The place is very pretty with flowers, Gazebo and a dog playpen area. Poop bags provided! Each site has a wood deck to park next to on the passenger side so you don't have to walk out on dirt and can set up your chairs there. Extra room for a small toad and trailer if needed. Trail systems are a few miles South on 373 or back along 260 about 5 mi away. Lots of tall pine forests to hike through. Very relaxing place. Had a great time. Would come back again.

Sarah and Jay the managers of the park are a super nice hard working couple. Snowy Mountain RV Park is in great shape due the their constant attention to detail while keeping it inviting and casual. The fenced and gated, off the leash if you want to, dog park is ADORABLE with it's grass, trees and flowers and very clean! Sarah gave me a zucchini she grew there in the park. You can tell looking at the park that she has a green thumb for sure! Jay seems to be jack of all trades and the park is lucky to have use of his skills. They keep the entire park very green clean and full of natural and planted flowers plus everything is in great repair. The pine trees shade nicely. The lighted gazebo has a grill which we used quite a bit. It's got window flower, herb and zucchini pots and lots of places to sit as well as tables to put your cooking items on. There's a wood stove too. Look, if you want the showers, a laundry room, a gift shop, and a guy on a golf cart checking on your business this isn't the place for you. They will however ask you if you need anything or help with whatever. This place has a much more homelike feel to it as it's only 6 spots and quiet. I played music but didn't have it loud and no one cared. I hope they keep it at 6 spots. Lots of birds and little critters to take photos of too. The wood decks your RVs are parked next to are great for your chairs and a table. Our dog liked to sit on it while we sat watched the stars at night while talking. There are places to walk around and get exercise due to the hilly roads but if you want to really explore the lakes and the town of Greer and it's Little Colorado River or run to the store down the road be sure to bring a tow. This is the place to get away from it all and relax. I saw a lot of UTVs over the 2 weekends going down the main road. There are friendly horses to feed carrots to next to the cattails at the pond. Oh and the wifi was great. I watched Netflix when it did softly rain that one night for 2 hours. It did sprinkle every day (without the massive August monsoon wind and humidity) which was heaven for me since I live near Phoenix.....The hollyhock photo below is what I watched double in size while I was there 2 weeks. It was outside my dining table window.

A hidden gem! Newer owners/managers work very hard to make this cozy, 6 space park the best place to come up, beat the heat and relax. Like flowers? They are surrounding the large gazebo in the middle of the spaces. Have a dog? Nice place for your pup to do his business away from your rig. The caring staff want to make your stay here the most pleasant ever. We stayed 2 weeks in a 40 ft. motorhome in a spot by the road. We expected to be annoyed by noise, we weren't. Love this place, and we will return soon.

This is a small (6 spaces) cozy, quant and very well kept RV park. Upon arrival, we were met by Jay & Sara (manager/owners) who helped us get settled in. A fantastic spot backed into the pines. By far the nicest and most accommodating people you could ask for. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and definitely plan on returning.
