This was the perfect stop on a very long road trip. The park was beautiful and very well maintained. I expect it gets busy on weekends and in the summer, but we had it pretty much to ourselves on this Thursday afternoon in October. We had a lovely walk with our dogs followed by a leisurely lunch while sitting under shady trees on the grass. There were even a couple of beaver dams to admire on the lake and an observation deck in a protected waterfoul area just a short and pretty walk from the cabin area.

I like to visit the park and rent a cabin, clean cabins and a great place to relax and enjoy with family.

Nice park, electric and water sites. Nice little playground. Showers have no temperature setting. Just a on dial. And a small bench to set your belongings on. Overall, we would stay here again.

I've never camped here or stayed in one of the cabins, but they look really nice. My experience here is based on looking at the wildlife in the spring and kayaking on the lake. The water level here can change quite a bit from year to year, but when the water is up, this is a fun lake to explore by kayak. There is an awesome variety of waterfowl here in the spring and it's a great time to make a visit.

Lake done gone missing, but if you like a lot of dead carp with your piles of dead gar and catfish, this is an ideal camping spot. An intriguing fragrance permeates the area.

Clean, quiet, nice, there is alot of work being put into this camp ground to keep it this way. There is a nice cement path from the north end of the lake at the camping area down past the boat ramps. 3-4 fishing docks, clean modern showers, and rest rooms. They do have firewood for sale. There is a big playground for the kids. They have a place to dump the grey and black water on the campers. Camping spots have power and water. There are spots that are tent only. Plenty of extra parking spaces for visitors. There is a shelter house close to modern bathrooms. This is a very good place to take kids for bike riding, fishing, and sight seeing.
