If I could rate it a 0 I would!!! First of all, the road going there was SKETCHY! It went from regular steep hills that were doable to an unpaved road that was rocky, uneven and narrow with abandoned trailers and boats down this pitch black road. We have traveled across the country and have been on some sketchy road but THIS ROAD was worse than we have ever been on before and once you're on it there is no turning around because of how narrow it is. We were towing and had to put 4X on the truck and try and get through it without ruining our trailer. Once we got there we realized why you can't look up "SoCal campground" on google or Apple Maps and have to type in the actual address. It's because it's just the BACKYARD of someone's house. Although there is lots of land that's should be stated somewhere in BOLD! We instantly didn't feel safe. Once we got into our site and looked around the "campground" we were immediately seen by someone who lived there's cane corso or bull mastiff off leash staring at us snarling that was less than 50ft away from us. We got back in the car and left immediately!! No cell service once you're there so plan wisely. We went back out the same way we came through the horrible unpaved road and got back to the regular road and those steep hills were so steep while towing that our truck overheated (it's only a year old and can tow well over the weight of our trailer) that is how steep these hills were! We have never felt unsafe at a campground like this. So many things undisclosed just don't go.
