Loved the location..quiet peaceful, dark. Host was super friendly. Down sides....no amenities at all. This was a getaway location and more than likely an overnight stop, not a destination. Safe, secure, clean and friendly

Unfortunately very windy during our stay and more wind at this location. Really no amenities..no garbage’s for dog bags only the large green container which is only one site. No picnic tables, fire pits. WiFi very poor. No pool, pickle ball courts. Essentially paved roads with tons of gravel to park on. Even the septic hookups are incorrectly designed. When we arrived I had told him we wanted to stay for 3 to 5 nights . He told us if there was any change just to let him know. We decided to leave early and he held up a paper saying no refunds. Beautiful Views from the high mesa those park is on. There is so much potential.

New management has been somewhat rocky. Married couple has taken over and while the husband seems somewhat friendly, his wife certainly is not. The park is animal friendly and she has made it clear she doesn’t like dogs, speaking to her she gives off that “friendly power trip” vibe. She states that “rent” is due every 30 days, meaning that depending on the month you’ll be charged twice. Makes no sense and you would expect that it’s due the first of each month. The clubhouse has little to nothing exciting and the gym equipment doesn’t work properly. Otherwise neighbors are friendly and you can make the best of it. Beware, Dennis has left a glowing review but fails to mention that he was the old management and is friends with the new managers.

Convenient booking on the web site. When my husband and son arrived the manager was rude and questioned my husband like it was an investigation. It is quite and the surrounding area is only desert. We decided to stay longer so I made another reservation on line. When we went to the office the manager was extremely upset that I made another without asking his permission. He attempted cause an argument between my husband and I then carried on saying we put him in a bad position because the park isn't for children and we have our son but our son is not a little kid he tried to take advantage of the amenities and was rudely turned away because only adults are allowed. He also lied to us saying there was going to be maintenance done on the sites and we were interfering with that. And that it wasn't a long term park but we personally know people that have been living there for years. So if you want to be lied to and treated rude and belittling with no respect to your family this is the place. Also don't believe what you read on the website about charges for power because he will charge whatever he wants I had a 4 day reservation and a 2 week reservation I should have only been charged for the 2 week reservation but he overcharged us and also charged a card he wasn't authorized to use. If you can't believe there website and the manager is a discriminating liar. It's not worth ANYONE'S time effort or money to deal with this dishonest business

I stayed over the summer of 2022 and despite the heat, the park was perfect. The managers were so kind and accommodating at every turn. They really do the best with what they have and there aren't endless HOA-like rules like some parks. The rates and laundry were cheap, electricity was affordable even running my AC 24/7. I like that the park is quiet, removed from the roadways yet easy access to shopping/hospital. My dog and I preferred the large dirt lots rather than endless concrete... you even have access to the Flat Top bike path and hiking trails right from your front door. Through the summer it's inhabited by mostly longer term stays, but I was never disturbed by any short term traffic. My neighbors were so kind, even lent a hand on projects. Would absolutely stay again.
