We stayed for 2 nights at spot #9. Spots in the park are VERY close. It had been raining the week and several very large branches were down and one large one had to be moved to back in. Views were O.K., this is residential, so your view of the ocean is from across the street of private properties with houses so you are looking through their property (house) to see peeks of ocean and rock. My biggest complaint is for the price, level spots would be of great value. The restroom were large and clean. The spa was out of order so we just stayed in the RV for 48 hrs sitting, waiting out the rain. The staff were very nice. The road in is not terrible as we did drive in the route that they did not recommend and has absolutely beautiful views, it was easily maneuvered in a 23ft van.

This was our first visit to Trinidad, and we loved staying at the School House. The recent renovation blends modern comfort with historic charm, creating a warm and welcoming space. Our kids enjoyed the playground and hot tub, and we loved the redwood setting close to town and nearby trails. The on-site store was convenient, and the staff were super friendly. Our stay left us excited to return and explore more of Trinidad!

We stayed here in 2 of their ocean view spots 7-11 Jan ‘26, wow!!! We loved 11, on the end, great views, 9 has amazing ocean view as well. Klamath and Crescent City within an hour north and Eureka about 30 mins south. You are in the middle of many parks here north and south, check out the Redwood groves and Elk Meadows. We saw some beautiful Elk. This is a fisherman’s paradise. Trinidad is 10-15 mins away with a great market and restaurants. We liked Seascape Cafe for Breakfast and Trinidad Bay Eatery for Lunch/Dinner. And if you want a special romantic dinner, check out the Larrupin' Cafe for an incredible dinner, need reservations. That place was amazing! A very nicely upgraded and well maintained RV park with laundry, nice pet spots, camp store, etc. We liked it better than all the other local RV parks. They have nice cabins too. We even loved the sea lions. This will be our place to stay in the Trinidad area going forward!

Camp Trinidad is a great RV park just north of Trinidad. We stayed in site #8, an ocean view site. This one also comes with a deck which was really nice. Bathrooms are very clean. There is a large dog run where our pups met other nice dogs. The location is nice - well off 101 on a quiet road. If we’d had more time we would have road our bikes into Trinidad on the road. We’d heard it is not typically used by cars.

I am writing to express my sincere appreciation for the wonderful experience my boyfriend and I had at this resort during our recent babymoon/visiting family in Trinidad. We had initially booked a different campground/resort, but it was unfortunately located directly next to Highway 101, making it impossible to relax due to constant traffic noise. I mean so close that we could see our 5th wheel from the 101. Seeking a more peaceful stay, we found this resort through a quick Google search and a recommendation from family. When we arrived the following morning, the office was not yet open, but a very kind blonde woman, who was about to go into an interview, still assisted me. She provided us with a map, circled available sites, and allowed us to drive around to explore. She mentioned that if she weren't about to interview someone, she would have booked us on the spot, and advised me to book online or call back in an hour when the receptionist arrived. We ended up calling and successfully booking a site. When we checked in that sweet blonde lady was there and actually ended up checking us in, come to find out she and her husband are the owners. Both of them are very accommodating, understanding and just really genuine nice people. Every staff member we encountered demonstrated exceptional customer service and truly went above and beyond, they even allowed us to check in early given our situation. The sites are meticulously maintained, and the resort offers a beautiful and diverse range of options. We were so impressed that we have decided this will be our exclusive choice for future visits to Trinidad. We look forward to returning in September.

We stayed only one night in a serviced RV site on the upper level. Great location. Lee was super friendly and helpful. Washrooms were immaculate. Sunset was gorgeous over the water. We had a terrific night around a pitfire. Only regret we could not stay longer.

If you want to see the redwoods and the beaches of the Lost Coast, this is a great place to stay. We had an enjoyable stay there 5 years ago when it was called "Sounds of the Sea" (you can hear sea lions on the beach), and the new owners have done a great job of fixing it up. Nice RV sites (we like #47), and they also have cabins where you can bring your dog and a small inn (no dogs). Nice hot tub with a view of the ocean. There is no beach access near the resort, but beaches are a short drive away.

Great job rehabbing this choice RV park location! Every thing was fresh and clean. The grounds were pristine. Bathrooms very accommodating. The hot tub at sunset was a treat. All of your hard work shows. Looking forward to seeing you again before long!

This was so nice to stay 4 months at Camp Trinidad! I had the best summer I've already booked for next summer. I like the orderliness and cleanliness of this park. The owners Taylor and Lisa are delightful. It was a great RV park. Lee the manager couldn't be better! Looked forward to seeing her. Thank you so much 🤗

We had camped here several years ago, but our first time back under the new ownership. We were impressed with how much better the grounds look, the update they've done to the restrooms and the additions they've added. We had site 3, one of the oversized, and I'd recommend that site if available. The staff working there took time to chat with us and all were friendly, customer oriented and made us feel welcomed. We very much enjoyed our stay and will return.

Five stars all the way. From the moment we rolled in, everything felt fresh, tidy, and thoughtfully updated. One of our favorite parts was the camp store. It felt like a fun little boutique with some great unique food items. We left with way more than we planned (in the best way). The campground was peaceful and quiet, and we had a beautiful view from our site that made our stay feel extra relaxing. Overall, we were very happy with our experience and would absolutely stay here again.

We stayed in one of their cabins for four nights. Definitely would go back again! It was clean and quiet and I slept well. Easy to cook our meals. Hosts were very welcoming and attentive. Beautiful location and close to parks and Redwoods.

We rented one of the cabins at Camp Trinidad and it was perfect! So cute, super clean, very comfortable bed/furniture and plenty of room for our family of 3. Beautiful location with gorgeous views of the ocean and even a great hot tub that my 4 year old daughter and I enjoyed. We will definitely be back. Loved Camp Trinidad!

5 stars We stayed at Camp Trinidad in our RV and absolutely loved it! We arrived late and didn’t get a chance to explore all the amenities, but the peaceful, scenic setting was the perfect way to kick off our coastal road trip. The new owners have done a fantastic job giving the place a fresh, welcoming vibe with a touch of new-age hipness. The grounds are beautiful, and the owner was incredibly friendly and hospitable. We enjoyed it so much that we already plan to stay again on our way back down the coast. Can’t wait!

Our planned 5 day trip to Camp Trinidad turned into a 19 day unplanned stay after major vehicle issues upon arrival. We were very fortunate to be able to make it to our camp and have Lisa & Taylor and their staff take incredible care of us. From the moment we arrived we needed help finding reputable mechanics and getting steered in the right direction. Lisa went above and beyond genuinely listening and helping where she could. She took her own time to bring me into town to get a rental vehicle and always made sure we had space at Camp Trinidad as the days added up, often at the last minute. She was generous in helping us to save money after booking through an outside app (HipCamp) by personally taking care of our reservations through their system, which ended up saving hundreds of dollars. SO appreciated! The property was pristine; very clean and you could see there was attention to detail around every corner. Our kids enjoyed the play area they have and the very clean hot tub with amazing views. Having on site laundry and showers became a luxury with 5 of us sharing a 16 ft trailer. They are very dog friendly too, which only helped to ease our situation as we had our 2 dogs as well. I will recommend to anyone, that ever asks, where they should stay when visiting the Northern California coast and Redwoods to, hands-down, book with Camp Trinidad. I look forward to our next visit to see the renovated original school house that’s becoming additional lodging as well as the beautiful landscaping that’s found throughout the property. And of course to see our new friends, Lisa & Taylor.
