Happy to accomodate a large group at the last minute. Quiet site with full service and no issues. Helpful staff and always someone roaming around on a golf cart if you had any questions.. site was well spaced and a few Willow trees for shade. Noticed security during overnights - he scared me a few times by accident lurking in the shadows. Walking distance to Skaha Lake and beach area. Dogs welcomed and friendly site neighbors. Showers could use an upgrade - one only pumped out cold water. However, they were nice and close to our site. Wash station also could use a serious upgrade - didn't use it as it was questionable. Fenced in and locked area at night. Highway noise but didn't bother us as we are used to it. Thanks for accommodating our group after our original didn't pan out. Was an easy process. Skaha is quieter and offers boat and toy rentals across the street from campground. Off leash dog beach just east of Barefoot Beach Club across from area.

Well managed cleannest campsite ever. Kids friendly. If you are looking for private and quiet campsite, this is not for you. No trees between each spot. Great for family with kids. Nice play ground.

Decent campground but in need of some upgrades and work done: Mini golf is missing "green" on some holes requiring you to shoot over concrete, bathrooms have pitted toilet seats promoting bacterial growth, hand dryers have sensors that only work sometimes and then blow slowly, arcade is dated with limited selection and non responsive controls on a gun shooter. Nice family atmosphere though, and the activities in the park are a step in the right direction. Trees have also been trimmed semi recently. Definitely more work needs to be done following new ownership, but is not a decent place to stay until it is done.

We come here almost every year and love it for the most part. The highway noise isn’t that big of a deal and you can walk back to your campground after floating down the channel. The beach is right across the street so that is an huge bonus as well! There is a free pump to blow up your floatation devices to use on the channel or the lake. Other campers are always friendly and we have never had an issue with the staff. The only downside that I have noticed last year and this year is the extreme stench of sewer. We always stay closer to the highway as we bring our dogs most of the time and there is a large grassy field beside the highway. The stench is very overwhelming this year. Will we come back again, absolutely! I just hope they get whatever the issues are fixed with sewer.

We recently stayed at South Beach Gardens RV Park in Penticton with our 33-foot trailer, and it was a mixed experience with some great aspects but also some challenges. The campground’s location right across from Skaha Lake is fantastic—just steps from a sandy beach perfect for swimming, fishing, or floating the nearby channel. The natural setting, with shady trees and a nearby marsh for wildlife viewing, added a peaceful vibe to our stay. The facilities were solid overall. The bathrooms and showers were clean and well-maintained, and the laundry facilities were convenient. The campground offers a variety of sites, including RV sites with full hookups, tenting, and unserviced options. Our full-hookup RV site was functional but very tight for our 33-foot trailer, and the large trees made maneuvering into position tricky, requiring careful navigation. Had to ask a few campers to move vehicles to negotiate the tight quarters. Another issue was the layout of the hookups—power, water, and sewer ports are at the back of the stall, shared between sites. This meant our trailer’s outdoor kitchen at the rear was uncomfortably close to the neighboring camper’s sewer hose, which wasn’t ideal for enjoying outdoor meals. The gated entry and nighttime security kept things safe, and the rules around noise and pets ensured a quiet, family-friendly atmosphere. The kids loved the arcade and mini-golf, and the Friday evening music and games were a fun touch. However, the store was understocked, which was inconvenient, and the Wi-Fi was practically unusable unless you were in the arcade, despite being advertised as free. The beach’s proximity to local spots like pubs and an ice cream shop was a bonus, but it could get crowded, and we noticed some inconsiderate behavior like loud music, which slightly disrupted the family vibe. Found cell service to be absolutely horrible in the campsite area and with the wi-fi being also atrociously slow or nonexistent made it tough to get anything done requiring the internet. Overall, South Beach Gardens is a decent choice for its unbeatable lake access and family-friendly amenities, but the tight RV sites, tricky tree navigation, and awkward hookup placement were drawbacks yes but nothing I would ever say should stop you from enjoying this perfectly located RV park. I’d recommend this RV park no matter any slight negatives mentioned as nobody is perfect and they can always improve.

Dangerous power grid and narcissistic owners who don't stand behind it The ownership of this campground is dismissive about problems within their inadequate RV power grid, and was sleazy about not refunding us for replacing the $179 CAD power it melted, or their inability to run our ~13amp A/C unit due to the insufficient power during the heat. During July 2024, RV stall C-1 couldn't deliver more 98-104 volts of power. We met with staff at South Beach Gardens about power problems we experienced for the duration of our 4-5 night stay in stall C-1. During the entire stay, the voltage was inadequate and unsafe for most appliances, and my Power Watch Dog (a device that protects the RV from poor park power conditions) routinely disconnected from park power due to inadequate voltage falling below 104v. Healthy park voltage should always be 115 to 120 volts. Instead of consistently being 115 to 120 V, the park power was only 100 to 107 V when pulling 14-16A. If I attempted to pull more amps than 14-15a, the voltage would sag to 98 V or so. We could never get anywhere near 30a amps of power which meant we could run appliances including A/C. At the end of our trip, we discovered that the receptacle had also melted our 30 amp to 30 amp cord. The cable was no longer safe to use. At the advice of the campground's maintenance technicians, we went to Leisureland RV Centre and bought a replacement cable at a cost of $179.20 CAD. I've attached photographs of both our melted cable plug, which is no longer safe to use, and the melted park receptacle in C1. I have also attached a photograph of the receipt for the replacement cord. South Beach Gardens brushed us off for both the damage their power grid caused us, and the the fact that we couldn't run A/C and appliances off their grid. This was also the first park where we were promised 30 amps, but were only able to pull about 14 amps before the voltage sag became too great for the Power Watch Dog safety device to permit electricity to pass into our RV. I was incredibly let-down by the narcissistic response on email by the owner. We will not be back and would advise others to be extremely vigilant about the problematic power grid here. Use a Power Watch Dog or similar device to protect yourself during voltage brownouts during hot weather, and don't assume you'll be able to run you A/C or appliances during the day. In July, voltage was only normalized well after sundown.

Amazing campsite had so much fun . A must visit in summertime . This is a full hookup site with a very nice shower and washrooms. They have this guy come every Friday evening play music and games for the kids . The lake is literally outside the campsite . Close to Walmart liquor store or small little ice cream places and nice park .

I have stayed at south beach gardens for 25 years and have found the staff very friendly and the owners second to none. They are always willing to help when needed.

South Beach gardens has decent sized RV lots with full service. Lots of trees for shade, and a good playground. Quick access to the beach. Our only complaint was the loud motorcycles and trucks, but that's cause our site was next to the highway.

Loved this campground. Right on skaha lake by an excellent beach. Pretty close to to the highway so a bit of hwy noise should be expected. Price very reasonable and good sized spots. About a 20 minute bike ride from downtown. Will come again!
