I've been staying at South Fork Lodge and RV Park for about 4 years now and couldn't recommend it it more. I've stayed with buddies prior to going camping and with family. Dave and Suzette are great property owners an have made a significant effort to transform the place over the last four years. They are great hosts who treat you like family. This year I forgot a solar panel cable and had it shipped to their address. Unfortunately it did not arrive by the time we departed the lodge and went up into the Rio Grande National Forest, but Dave volunteered to bring it up to our camp site in the national forest. You can't really ask for better service. I look forward to many more stays in the future and catching up with Dave and Suzette.

We came up here for a family event this last weekend and let me tell you this place is beyond AMAZING!! The owners were is nice and anything you needed they got you. The place was great to spend time with family. And right down the road from really anything you need. We all will be making this place a yearly family spot.

I cannot recommend this place enough. If I could give a thousand stars I would. These guys are so warm and welcoming. The cabins are lovely. Everything about our experience here immediately made it feel like a home away from home. The views around the cabin are beautiful. There’s a small walking trail right out front. Beautiful lakes near by. Rio grande within walking distance. The deer were my favorite part. At one point there were a herd of 20 out front. These guys deserve to be your first choice if you’re considering a stay in South Fork!!

David and Suzette were some of the best hosts you could come across! The cabin was top notch, in great shape - quiet and more than you could ask (We stayed in Cabin 1 from around the time of may 28-June 4 2023) . The area was amazing as well. But, the surrounding areas is not what just made this place beautiful, but it was having hosts like David and Suzette. They took the time out to bring my 2 daughters some small toys to keep them occupied during the downtime at the cabin the first night we were there. They also took the time out to highlight all the best places around to visit and fish and we checked out each one of them. We were so happy that we extended our stay for another 2-3 nights. There just wasn’t enough time in the day. I also had a small mishap of my dog chewing up the trim board of the door, and they were so understanding about it. Completely embarrassed about the situation. I’ll be looking into boarding my pups next time it looks like! That was the only downfall of the entire experience. It happened on our last day. I couldn’t believe it. But But thank you for everything David and Suzette, you guys are the most welcoming people I have came across in the entire state of Colorado out of my small year to two of being here. I can’t wait to visit again and have more conversations with you guys.. Y’all are the best. Thanks for having us -Matt Abbott

The Cabin was just what we needed for our family of 6 for a quick family ski trip! We stayed in Cabin 4 and it was fantastic. Very clean and had all we needed for our stay! The owners made the stay even better. They were always available and very informative. Our batteries ended up dying in our truck and the owner helped us out and pointed us in the right direction for new ones. They also called us later that night to check on us to make sure we got new batteries! Great customer service. We will definitely be staying again in the future.

It was my birthday weekend and Suzette (host) had a rose and bottle of sparkling grape juice on table when we walked into our cabin! What a nice gesture. We loved our stay and the area is so beautiful. Cabins were comfy and used the fans to stay nice and cool. Thank you Suzette and Dave , we look forward to coming back soon. 🌻🌻😊😊

While traveling and living full time in RV we all have our share of favorite RV parks and for me South Fork Lodge and RV Park is one of them. What makes this park different and stand out from the rest is the owners they really care about this RV park and their guest. The RV park is simple and quiet no annoying guest blasting music after hours. Everyone is respectful and kind and I believe it starts from the owners. The location is perfect to explore all the surrounding areas. We came for a few weeks and stayed for more than a month. I don't like to give away my best parks, but these guys deserve the credit. Everything works as it should electricity, sewer and water. The park is kept clean and well maintained. Thanks for having us.

We found this little place in our way through Colorado. The owners were very friendly as well was their dog who likes to greet you at the front desk. The cabin was nice and clean with everything you would need to stay many days. Just be careful with the heater is can get warm fast. We will definitely be back when we have more time.

Rustic cabins that are comfortable, clean and quiet for a great night's sleep. Everything you might need is provided, and the prices are very reasonable. The owners are friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend staying here if you're in the area.
