We had a heck of a time, fishing, swimming, tubing. Clearest water. Boat ramp is a little nuts but patience is key. The sand bar is like a weekend college party!

Beautiful park with plenty of parking and a boat launch with wash station. The water is beautiful and the sand bar goes out quite far so you can wade in waist deep or anchor your pontoon. There is a gift shop with restaurant. You can rent kayaks, etc and also order food to your campsite.

Spent a lovely couple of days here in early autumn. What a beautiful state park- possibly one of the best we’ve experience. Spacious campsites. The lake is beautiful and this park has beaches and biking/hiking trails Would imagine with 492 sites it could be quite crowded in summer but after Labor Day you could really have your choice of sites here.

This lake is what makes this park amazing! You don’t come here for the bathrooms (at least the showers have hot water now!). The camping is ok - the sites are so used that there is very little grass to be had - you will have sand everywhere (at least it is 1/2 way clean sand). We love the lake! From my pics, you can see the drop off, that is forever away from shore. The shallow part is only about knee deep for a very long ways. We have kids that range from ages 2-13 & they love all being able to play in the lake together. This is also the lake where you will see tons of boats - it is fun to just watch all the toys that everyone has (& then feel really poor lol!).

We come here every year to camp and boat, such a beautiful park! We love the walking trail that runs along the lake. The lake is so gorgeous and clean and the beaches are nice white sand. Also love that they have a dog beach! My only complaint is the grass on our site was about 6 inches tall and I had to approach the park workers mowing another site to ask them to mow ours too.
