Very Nice federal campground. The lot we stayed in was nice full hookups and clean. Only beef I had was when the contracted mowers came in to mow like a bunch of race car drivers sliding and peeling the lawn up that they didn't need to do.

Friday night we stayed at site 119 Dogwood in a pinch. Site was not flat and there was dirt covered in straw when you would step out so if it rains you’re in mud. It’s full hookup though so there’s that. From Saturday on we’ve stayed at site 146 Redbud. Site is NOT full hookup although you do have water and electric. Site leans to the left and downhill at the front so it’s very hard to get leveled with a motorhome. Great shade and backs up to woods. Beach is close and there’s a bike trail that takes you right to the beach. Staff has been very friendly and helpful! Plenty of wildlife!

We had a week here, and it wasn’t long enough! Beautiful campground, friendly staff, large quiet spots, fire pits, picnic tables, and each section of the campground has their own playground. A bit of a walk to the beach, but it wasn’t too bad, and definitely worth it. Word of warning: The foot/bike path does NOT loop. You will walk and walk and walk some more before you just end up walking away. So, at some point, just turn around. You can be done.
