Southern Aire RV Resort seems to be a mix of what we call 'permanents', seasonal, and transient campers. Everyone is mixed in together. In other words, there is not a section of the campground for permanents. The sites are close together. The campground staff are some of the friendliest and most helpful people we have ever encountered. They go out of their way to make your stay as pleasant as possible. This includes getting a personal escort to your site. They check your site before you pull in to make sure that everything is in order. Some of the camping spaces back up to a major highway. The staff warned us about the traffic noise before we booked our reservation, but quite frankly, the noise was not bad at all. The camping fees are reasonable, and we would certainly consider this campground in the future.

We love this place. Very well kept, amazing pool, nice exercise equipment. Community house is very nice. We got a great spot up front for our camper and even had Muscovy Ducks that would come up to our camper. The staff is truly amazing and friendly! Will be back for sure!

The sites are very muddy and tight. When it rains, be aware that dirt and mud will be brought inside. During our 3-day stay, the resort lost power and water multiple times, which was difficult in the Florida heat with two small dogs. It took over 10 hours to restore electricity. We will not stay here again!
