Dana answered the phone and was professional, calm, and incredibly helpful from the start, which made a stressful situation much easier to handle. Rodney and Derrick assisted with the tow and repair, and they were outstanding — prompt, knowledgeable, and efficient. Southern Dixie Auto Repair truly lives up to all their stellar reviews! They are so friendly, professional and helpful. They take pride in doing their best to get you back on the road in a safe and reliable car. My car just stopped running as I was pulling out of a rest stop. I was near Clanton, 200 miles from home. Not only did Southern Dixie work on my vehicle - the timing belt had slipped, but they also did a full diagnostic of the engine and discovered a cracked piston. Unfortunately, I had a 2014 limited release Fiat GQ, so finding a new or used motor was a monumental effort and we could not find one. In the end, I had to salvage my Fiat and arrange for a tow from Southern Dixie’s shop. The earliest the tow could be scheduled was several days and I had to get back home. Southern Dixie worked with me to release the car to the towing pickup even though I could not be present. While I wish I still had my car, I cannot be more grateful or thankful for the care and accommodation from the entire team at Southern Dixie Auto Repair.

We cannot thank Derek and the employees enough. What a wonderful place! Our car broke down on vacation and they were amazing. On top of being amazing Derek drove my family and I home to Tn in his tow truck. Also, he made our little 3 year olds dream come true by getting to ride in the big truck plus going above and beyond to letting her help press buttons and levers to unload our car at the dealership.
