We have stayed here quite a few times, and it's usually very nice. This time, the people next to us, every day, sitting in the vehicles running the engine and the pickup was a diesel and the fumes and noise I had to close the door a couple of times. So that kind of took away from the camping experience....we will be back there again, hopefully a better experience

This is a nice park, a very clean river runs through it. The carmens river. There are swings, picnic tables, barbecue baseball, poor softball fieds, Dan's woodlands, deer turkeys, other wildlife. Cost 15 or $7 to get in in the summer. Depending on whether you have Bought a county park pass if you want, you can hike for a long distance. Probably, as long as anybody would want, to hike

I’ve been coming to Southaven County Park for just about 10 years now, and it never gets old. Whether you’re hiking, kayaking, or just relaxing by the water, it’s always been my go-to spot for a beautiful day. The scenery is peaceful, the trails are well-maintained, and there’s something about the atmosphere that keeps drawing me back year after year. It’s the perfect place to unwind, reconnect with nature, and make great memories. Highly recommend

It truly is one of my favorite places on Long Island NY, it is a beautiful and magical location for families couples or for even just taking a leisurely stroll in the woods for one. It is something special, sadly for a country park where nature is preserved I don’t understand why they would allow hunting. It’s a heart breaking feeling seeing such majestic creatures in danger from such a potential threat. Southhaven is a must

Not to bad for local camping only down side is now people live in these parks. Taking away from the camping experience. Also make it hard to get electric sites

Never been there before. What a delightful and beautiful gem you folks have. My wife and l had a wonderful time and she loved that the park was kind of hidden and away from the hustle and bustle of noise so common today. We loved it.
