A very nice and quiet campground. We will definitely keep it on our list of campgrounds to return to when in upstate New York.

My dog and I camped here for 15 weeks this summer and we had a blast. The grounds were beautiful maintained, bath house was always clean, and the gate keeping out the riff raf made us feel safe. I even had an emergency while staying here and the staff helped ensure my dog was taken care of. Spaces are very large with room to move about without feeling like you’re on top of your neighbor. We would definitely stay here again.

Staff here were very pleasant. Reservations were easy and amenities were all working. My only complaint is that the sites are too close together. This is an rv prodominent camp ground and we watched our neighbors try to cram their rvs into spaces that should have been bigger. We tent camped…. We’re literally the only ones tent camping and even we felt like we barely had space on our lot. Aside from that- grounds were clean!

This is a very quiet campground, seems pretty secure with the gates coming in. Swimming pool, store for shopping card games for adults. I mean it has a lot of stuff but the thing I like about it the most it was very very quiet. But since being taken over by different owners it has changed a little. The swimming pool is pretty bad. Really needs a cleaning. Not like it used to be. New staff are very nice.

Campground. Mostly seasonal people. Spaces for overnight had no trees and broken down picnic tables. Need to have a passcode to get through gate after 5 which is a hassle and costs $5. Staff leaves at 5. Two swimming pools are clean but close at 8. I appreciate the adult only times on one of the pools, but they are limited to 4 hours. why not all adult on one and kids on the other?

Very nice, and well maintained facility! I am late in the year, so I will not comment on the swimming facilities, but everything else is super! Great clean utilities: 50 A, good water, sewer, wifi, cable tv and decent phone in most areas. A nicely equipped store, staffed by friendly people. A lot of seasonal set ups that are generally meticulously kept and also cordial to overnighters. It’s close to my home, I only came here as my granddaughter would be playing in a lacrosse event near here, but I will be back, just to relax!

We chose South Woods Adventure Bound for our year-end camping trip, but it was a disappointing experience. While the staff were friendly upon arrival, the campsite was clearly designed for an RV rather than a tent. If we hadn’t brought air mattresses, it would’ve been very uncomfortable. The surrounding farms must have just sprayed because the entire area reeked of manure, and the flies were unbearable. We barely slept due to train horns blaring nearby all night long. The men’s bathroom and the pools were also not very clean. When we informed the office that we were checking out a day early due to these issues, the staff member just laughed and said he was glad it was all out of his control. We definitely won’t be back, and if this is how all Adventure Bound parks are, we won’t be staying at any of them again. I’m guessing this is why they have a zero refund/cancellation policy.

Just left the camp grounds with our new camper after our maiden voyage for 2024. 1st time here in 30 years. The park was meticulous clean as maintenance was preparing for this season. Very quiet and comfortable, looking forward to camping here again soon. Happy camping everyone!

Cool place. Set up well. Good laundry and bathrooms. Good sites. Stuff to do all week. Best RV park we've been in and we are full timers traveling the USA.

We just returned to Southwoods for another awesome vacation!! This campground just gets better with each visit! Mike and Sue Curran, the owners, along with their staff make everyone feel like family! We visited Niagara Falls and drove through Letchford State Park. We also took a boat ride on the Erie Canal! These are all just a short drive from the campground and should be on your list of places to see when you go! Southwoods has taken every precaution to make sure everyone is safe and comfortable while visiting!
