Location & Surroundings
Situated in Desert Hot Springs, CA, the resort provides a unique vantage point overlooking the Coachella Valley. The park is framed by the dramatic San Jacinto Mountains, offering stunning sunset views that define the California desert experience. Its elevation provides slightly cooler breezes than the low desert floor, while remaining just a short drive from the vibrant dining and shopping districts of nearby Palm Springs. The surrounding landscape features the rugged beauty of the San Gorgonio Pass, creating a picturesque backdrop for daily walks.
Amenities & Park Features
The centerpiece of the resort is its collection of natural hot mineral water pools and spas, which are drawn from local wells and kept at varying temperatures for maximum relaxation. Beyond the water features, the park provides full hookup sites designed to accommodate various rig sizes. Guests have access to a spacious clubhouse, which serves as a hub for community events, billiards, and social gatherings. For recreation, the resort includes well-maintained shuffleboard courts and clean facilities to ensure a comfortable long-term stay during the winter season.
Nearby Attractions & Things to Do
Adventure seekers are perfectly positioned to explore Joshua Tree National Park, which is located less than an hour away for scenic day trips and hiking. The area is also a golfer's paradise, with dozens of world-class courses nearby. For a change of pace, the Living Desert Zoo and Gardens and several local casinos provide endless entertainment options within a short drive of the resort.
Who This Park Is Best For
This resort is ideal for active seniors and snowbirds who prioritize relaxation and a social atmosphere. It is a perfect fit for travelers who enjoy the therapeutic aspects of mineral springs and a quiet, community-focused environment. It's a resort for old folks like us. Not a hotel. We're year round residents and absolutely love the area, love the views, and love the management ❤️

I moved to Sparkling Waters March 2024. I Couldn't be happier based on the price and the amenities. John, the manager, has been nothing but Great in every way. He doesn't treat a situation in cookie cutter fashion. He is, for lack of a better word, empathetic to the needs of the tenants. This is most evident when dealing with the nosy and chronic "finders of "issues" residents that are often found in 55+ parks. He has more patience than I do that's for sure. In short, the monthly costs, the amenities and the location make this a great little neighborhood.

We stayed one night in mid-December 2024. The host, John, is awesome! Easy to work with, positive attitude and great personality. There are a good number of long term residents. They were all friendly and polite and seemed happy to be in this nice clean place. The clubhouse is nice and features a well kept pool and two natural hot springs to relax in. Thanks again, John! We hope to stay at Sparking Waters again in the future! Peter and Mei

I’ve been a resident at Sparkling Waters for 2 1/2 years. I live in one of the mobile homes. Since John the manager took over, the park has undergone a major transformation. He upgraded the mineral water swimming pool area and spa pools public areas with new luxury lounge chairs snd seating, also brought in Palm Trees, flowers, greenery, and changed the paint colors. It looks, feels, and functions like a spa resort now!! Mago, the maintenance manager and landscaper keeps everything clean, maintained, and beautiful. Both John and Mago are so helpful and conscientious. They keep Sparkling Waters beautiful and go above and beyond in assisting the residents and visitors with their needs. The park is so much better now!! Thanks John and Mago!!

So far so good! I just got a spot here and everyone seems nice. The manager John helped me out by the Grace of God. My new neighbor came outside while my family was here delivering my coach. I have stayed to myself being that I can't see because of cataracts. I love it here it's nice n quiet. Thanks again John!
