Stayed there two days in June 2025. Pool was awesome and clean. Campground was very flat, no spots on any slopes. We did not plan to stay here as we were having a few issues with camper but I will stay here again.

Amazing grounds, and a great off leash hiking trail for your dogs next door. A few places to eat and pr grab a drink within walking distance. There is also a gas station and a gorcery store you can walk too as well. We went in the begining of October so it was not busy and easy to get a site.

Very nice clean campground conveniently located off 90 west in Spearfish. We were traveling in an RV with mechanical problems and the staff was very friendly and accommodating during a very stressful time. They gave us a break on our third day because the mechanic needed more time past check out. The actual campground is well maintained and backs up to a city owned park with hiking trails, picnic areas and a beautiful trout filled stream.

We arrived late and used the night registration, and paying in the morning was no problem at all for the staff. They were very accommodating. The showers were clean. Although the campground is located close to the highway, you don’t hear any traffic noise, which is definitely a big plus. Another highlight was that the owner marked a lovely walking trail right next to the park, a simple but wonderful touch that made the stay even better. Overall, this is a very nice and friendly campground with everything you need. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to others.

Nice grounds. Very clean, spacious lots and well maintained. Restrooms, laundry, and showers are very clean and seemed to be checked on multiple times a day. KOA is conveniently located near highways. If you listen, you can hear cars but to be honest it seemed very quiet and peaceful. It is September so not many trailers were here. We had a 7+ mile nature trail right by our trailer but with running around and taking in all the sites, we didn’t have time to check it out. Staff were friendly and nice. Located near or a short drive away are several points of interest-Black Hills, Crazy Horse, Mt. Rushmore, Badlands, Jewel Cave, Custer Park, Wind Cave , and many others. If we come this way again, will definitely stay here again.
