Excellent facility for secure boat storage but most of all it’s the best swimming spot you could possibly find on Lewis Smith Lake. This has remained true for years and years. If you have small children it’s especially wonderful during to the depth of water. You gradually enter the water and it stays shallow a little ways and gets deeper and deeper as you go farther out. It’s absolutely perfect and I’ve made some of the best memories of my life at this little spot. If you are lucky enough to get yourself a spot here you become part of a family like no other. Everyone helps everyone out, cooks for each other, visits and fish, play games together and when you need your space and alone time, you get it. The sunsets are amazing - it’s just a special place and always has been.

We love having our camper set up at Speegle’s Marina! This will be our 4th year here and it has been fantastic! It’s clean, quiet, family friendly environment!! Quick response from the owners who are also just the sweetest people!! We also utilize the boat storage they offer!! So it’s right there when we want to go out on the lake!!

Speegles Marina is an excellent facility for the outdoorsman/fisherman. I have stored my boat there for over 30 years and have never had a bad experience. A very reasonable rate and a safe property with 24/7 launch year round. I highly recommend the marina and its facilities. Great owners!

Very cordial owners. Nice family Oreinted setups with no krambed up permanent lot monuments as in storages etc. Very well gated, secured and monitored. Lake access boats ramps allows an ample amount of spacious area to launch and load without overcrowding or waiting in line.

Amenities are up to date, full hook ups, inviting friendly atmosphere, conv store stocked, and WiFi provided. So everything was looking good. One Caveat, if you wanna go for a long weekend, a week, even 2 weeks, you have to rent/lease your site for an entire year, and quick to stress no full time residents allowed. Race horse deal if you’re on their side of the counter imo. So assuming you’re re retired, have a camper w/Alaska ready insulation, and can make it 2 weeks of every month you’ll only get 26 weeks of a 52 week lease if what I was told is correct and explained; which seems to coincide with their website. Great location, great facilities, boat storage friendly staff/people. Been camping for 24/25 years and haven’t found any like this, so hoping this isn’t the way of the future for camping or privately owned anyway.
