We were to arrive an hour early. Was told we could not come in without a $25.00 fee. Though they hardly had any RV’s there. Our space was available. So we opted to stay inland at another park until we could move to this park. Knowing what we know now. We should have just stayed at Rainbow Point in Spokane Valley. They were the nicest folks. The KOA office knew the Internet was so spotty. You could not watch movies on Amazon prime. Or use any internet what so ever. Though the office had five bars. We had 1 at its best. The premium spot we choose .. We’re grassless, and looked like you were pulling into a wagon rut. You walk on Sandy dirt.. Ours had a caution sign asking us not to stand under the tree. In case of limbs breakage. The water lines were cracked and stuck out of the ground 12 inches. The place is run down.. But you can tell it used to be a nice KOA.

My husband and I stayed here for about 2 weeks around the 4th of July. The staff is friendly and helpful. Our 2 week reservation was broken up by a weekend and they accommodated our request to be back in the same spot. Check in was easy and navigation to our spot was simple. The KOA has a lot of amenities. We enjoyed the pool (that was often a little crowded with kids) and playing basketball on the court out front. Our site was large and we had a picnic table that was shaded by the trees. The KOA was a little more expensive than what it was worth, but overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

As far as KOAs go I would give it a 6/10. Main office is new and modern. Bathrooms in the back are extremely old and dingy. looks like a 1960s high school locker room. Overall, a decent place to stop for the night if you’re traveling through Spokane. I wouldn’t stay here for an extended period of time though

The staff were really nice. However, this KOA is right up against the train tracks, so that train horn blares VERY loudly day/night. There’s also not much around walking distance. No place to really take walks outside of the KOA walls. The RV and tent spots need some TLC. All of the grass is dead and/or non existent. Lots of dirt everywhere. Not a pretty place in the slightest. The only grass they water is by the common area by the pavilion. The dog park is pretty small. The laundry is just ok. Large, commercial dryers, which is a plus. However, there’s only 3 of them to the 5-6 washers, so there was a backlog of people waiting to dry their clothes. No coin machine. Must get quarters from front office during office hours. No ATM.

While the staff we encountered were really nice, this property is not. It's high rate and "low rent" if you're camping in a trailer or tent. When you drive in, the tents are so close to the driveway it reminds me of downtown LA. Those sites start at $50! The trailer sites are okay, but look in need of some TLC. The cabins look really nice from the outside but have the same problem ALL guests have: very little space to park. The driveway is narrow and some campers spread out into it. It's noisy and tight. Hope we don't have to come here again.

I’m not sure what this is about, but this is very scary and worrysome that this guy is that messy and strange in a Koa Rv park next to us. It looks like the old motor home next to them we’re doing something illicit. I have never seen something like this in a Koa or any Rv park anywhere, frankly. I only hope we are safe until we leave in the morning. People come and they go just that quick.

Very disappointed. Arrived to a cabin that had mold in the fridge and wasn’t the cleanest. However , it’s a cabin so didn’t think too much of it. I took pictures for my safety of what I was walking into. I asked the front desk for garbage bags. Toilet paper, and received none of it. I received a damage fee and called them to ask what it was for. As I told them I took pictures of what I arrived to and left… they hung up the phone on me. Called and hung up on again!!! I haven’t heard anything back. If you’re going to charge people at least explain. I wrote a review on the page and it was instantly deleted I’ve emailed, with no response. I love KOA. But will not return to this certain one.

First stayed here 10/2020. Stayed again 3/2022. Campground is clean. The new wall between the train track and the campground looks great. Bathroom is always clean. Friendly staff. One of these days we will stay for more than a night and during warmer months so we can enjoy more of the campground and surrounding area.

After driving 2 hours here we were notified that the bathrooms/ water are unavailable for use do to a plumbing issue. Some forewarning would have been nice before check in and driving all the way here. Now we are stuck trying to find dog friendly lodging the night of our stay in Spokane elsewhere.
