We really like this camp ground. Stream runs through, waterfall, fishing lake and many others. Great location for a base in the fall to drive to the river for fall leave viewing. Kids have taken the cave tour and stayed in a cabin. We take the camper. There is train tracks that run next to camp ground and trains do come through occasionally. Great playground area with nice equipment.

We were there for a week. Friends from Michigan joined us. As they were all hooked up and leaving with their RV and their jeep hooked up behind it the air brakes malfunctioned on their rig and brakes wouldn’t release. Called several places for help, some would not travel to us, some wouldn’t work on an RV or air brakes. I happened to see the owner driving in, Russ, and flagged him down. He made some calls and had help out to us in an hour and a half. Our friends wound up staying an additional night for the repairs but I don’t know what we would have done if not for Russ. This is an amazing, clean, beautifully maintained camp ground! Sites are awesome! Cave tour is great! Cabins are awesome! The owners are wonderful, friendly, and helpful! Highly recommend and we’ve been there twice and look forward to reserving next year! Highly recommend! Hidden gem right here!

This campground initially appeared beautiful. Property is well maintained as far as lawn care and we had a trout stream right behind us. The lack of mosquitoes was also a big plus. However, the beach is extremely small and the water is filthy. I’m also comparing it to other beaches we’ve been to. Also, the trains that go through blaring horns at all hours of the night are quite annoying. Obviously not something they have control over but nonetheless difficult to sleep through. Also, keep in mind that this campground allows UTVs and they are everywhere and they are LOUD. The rules state no driving after 10pm but that was clearly not enforced and I was even told not to worry about driving hours when I rented a golf cart. The office hours are strange. They close at 5:30 on the weekends which is bizarre as that’s when most of your guests are there. The cave tour was fun and quite enjoyable and the shop is very nice. Ice cream was delicious as well and staff was friendly. It overall was not bad, but I would most likely not stay there again.

We decided to book a campsite for the Memorial Day weekend. Price seemed high at first but figured why not give it a try. Once we arrived I found out that this place was very well kept! The bathrooms were spotless, modern and very nice. The campsites were very nice with mowing and locations next to the creek. They bring firewood right to your campsite and all around a top notch place. I especially loved hiking the trails around the property and of course the cave tour. Our tour guide Ab did an amazing job and had us laughing throughout the tour. Don’t let the price fool you this place is worth every penny.

Had such a wonderful weekend getaway for our Anniversary. Everything went smoothly. Booked our lakeside cabin online. Check in took a total of probably 3 minutes and staff was very friendly. Met the owner and she was just as friendly and welcoming. Cabin was a bit chilly in the bedroom as it was one of the last weekends of the season and heater was in the livingroom area but that is to be expected. Would definitely recommend a stay here. Nice and quiet also. We will be back next year!

This is a beautiful campground overall. There is a lot to do and see. Waterfall, swimming, fishing, trails, kids play area, cave tours. There were a few drawbacks. Most of the campsites are large, grassy sites perfect for a 30ft camper or larger EXCEPT sites 50-55. These are VERY SMALL, on a steep hill, and almost no grass. Avoid these sites. The fire pits are a hole in the ground without any fire surround or cover. The edges slope down into the fire pit. This is very dangerous. More than once the small kids nearly fell into the fire. Other than the 2 issues above this was a lovely campground and we did have a great time.

Me family and I went they recently, and had a amazing time. There are many stunning things to do at the campground. Some examples of this are trails, swimming area, and fishing. Most of all my family loved the cave tours. Are tour guide Michael was very friendly, keep the conversation going, informational, and overall a nice human. We learned a lot about the cave and park in general. To be honest all the people working while we were there were great. Would recommend to anyone looking for a fun summer getaway.

My wife and I were doing a tour of Iowa Waterfalls and found out about the tour while visiting a fall on the camp grounds. The tour was amazing, they take you deep into a cave via boat. It is a one of a kind tour. The lady who did out tour was really good.
