Springerville RV Park

Overview

Springerville RV Park serves as a peaceful gateway to the high-country wonders of the White Mountains. Located in the charming town of Springerville, this facility provides a reliable and friendly home base for travelers exploring Eastern Arizona. Unlike the desert heat of the lowlands, this park offers a refreshing alpine climate that draws visitors seeking relief during the summer months. It is designed for those who appreciate a straightforward, quiet environment where nature takes center stage.

Location & Surroundings

Situated at an elevation of nearly 7,000 feet, the park is nestled within the Round Valley area. It is surrounded by the vast Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest, providing immediate access to millions of acres of pristine wilderness. The landscape is a mix of high-desert plateau and dense ponderosa pine forests. Staying here means you are just a short drive from the Little Colorado River, where the sound of water and the sight of local wildlife create a serene atmosphere for morning walks.

Amenities & Park Features

The park is well-equipped to handle modern rigs with full hookup sites offering both 30 and 50-amp electrical service. For those traveling in larger motorhomes, the spacious pull-through sites ensure an easy setup without the stress of tight maneuvering. Guests have access to essential conveniences, including clean restroom and shower facilities and an on-site laundry room. The property is pet-friendly, allowing your four-legged companions to enjoy the mountain air, and provides reliable Wi-Fi for staying connected while off the beaten path.

Nearby Attractions & Things to Do

Outdoor enthusiasts will find no shortage of adventure nearby. History buffs can explore the Casa Malpais Archaeological Park, which features ancient pueblo ruins and a unique volcanic landscape. Fishing is a major draw, with Big Lake and Greer Lakes offering some of the best trout fishing in the state. During the winter, the proximity to Sunrise Park Resort makes it a viable spot for skiers, while summer visitors can enjoy endless miles of hiking and mountain biking trails through the rugged terrain.

Very clean, spacious spots. Hosts were great! If they get a chance, maybe put a dog park in the back corner by the conex box.

A great place to stay on our trip from Sedona to Alamogordo. Don't let the highway noise scare you - it was very quiet. Great staff!

What a great place for a long or short term stay! It’s a no-frills park. No restrooms or showers. Wi-Fi up by the office. Laundry onsite. Large. Level sites with cinders. Quiet peaceful nights. Only 5 minutes from town for groceries, restaurants, hardware, and a small hospital. A lot to do or see in the surrounding areas.

Cow pasture converted to rv park. Overpriced. Badly managed. Faulty infastructure. Will not be back. No wonder occupancy has dwindled to next to nothing while all the other parks in the area are near max capacity. Fortunately there are thousands of rv parks so WHO NEEDS YOU!! BTW…you didn’t mind taking my money…did you? Maybe you should give it back. How about that???

Great hosts, right in town but just outside of town so its quiet. Lots of room, nice straight forward layout. Gave 4 only because the trees need to grow up for summer time stay.
