I came to visit because I was camping on the opposite side of the Missouri and I had started the Peaks to Plains Passport challenge for South Dakota. No sooner had I exited my car and checked in on the passport did the local police show up to eyeball me. They watched me for several minutes and made me very uncomfortable and unwilling to explore any further. It looked like a nice spot- but I will never know for sure.

Grounds well cared for. Old shower house but worked all the same. Dirt pads. Firewood available. Golf course is a stone's throw away. An ok experience.
