The hiking club path was awe-inspiring there’s something about the dirt out here, how it doesn’t ask for anything— just lets you walk on it, like an old friend who doesn’t care what kind of day you’ve had. the trees lean in close, whispering things you can’t quite catch, the roads are like the wind— drunk on sunlight and distance. somewhere along the road the air came alive with birds laughing and I thought “not bad for a patch of earth trying to make you feel alive again.” I found a trail that went nowhere fast, and that was perfect. every turn felt like a small rebellion against all the clocks I’ve ever owned. the campgrounds, the roads, the benches— they all looked like they were built by people who still believed in quiet moments. and I just kept walking, because the world out here doesn’t need your name, your plans, or your stories— it just wants you to keep going until you finally shut up long enough to hear how alive it all still is.

This is a really big Park! So many different places to go and see. I missed the fire tower was running late and went to two rivers. What a view down there. Little confusing to get to. But once you get down the Dead end road there's lots of signs and places to go. Definitely going to go back and explore other areas there. Very clean and well thought out. On the two Rivers walk there was lots of benches along the river. You could definitely spend a whole day at St Croix State Park exploring! I will definitely be going back.

Largest state park in the state, lots of driving so remember to have a full tank , go slow and look for Hawks. I always see them over head. Definitely worth more than one visit. The beach is so peaceful and just starting to change color. Lots of canoe area to explore. I believe you can rent them here too.

A very nice park with lots of very beautiful areas and nature. I came with a group of friends to bear creek campground. It was extremely nice to find out that there are 2 cabins, firewood, and a toilet. The walk is pretty long to camp (about a mile) and the buildings were beaten up and worn down. besides that it was an amazing experience. If you have time you should visit the fire watch tower and two rivers trail. Amazing experience I'd love to come again sometime.

Pros: Wildlife everywhere, I saw a bear close up for the first time. Beautiful swimming beach, well maintained trails, clean and accessible restrooms and showers. There’s something for everyone, fishing, biking, hiking, all of that!! Cons: Rude and miserable lady working the front desk. Campsites are NOT PRIVATE. You will be right next to your neighbor. My neighbor made sure to park their RV right next to my tent (see my pictures) and let their kids peek in my tent. If you’re a tent family, beware! You will have to listen to the sound of dozens of RV air conditioners and TVs blasting all night while you try to sleep. It was not quiet or peaceful at all, everyone was loud all night. Quiet hours weren’t enforced. I would come back as a day trip but I will never camp here again. As usual, the nature rocks 🌳 🌲 🦔 and the people suck!
