DO NOT STAY HERE! Staff are not honest when booking, I called to book directly with Mary and at no point did she ever mention the swimming pool and club house is closed. Based off the reviews, I’m not surprised. The property looks very run down. Save your money and book elsewhere. I will be disputing the charge on my credit card with the my credit card company. Staff (Mary) you should be ashamed of yourself. What a waste of time.

The views here are unbeatable. It is a quiet space away from the hustle of downtown. The staff was friendly but would recommend that you have your own shower or for sure bring shower shoes and a bag to keep your belongings up. The wifi is also not accessible for a majority of the time which could be a good thing!?

So far, my extended stay (to avoid Midwest snow) has gone fine overall - my back-in RV site with water and electricity is charming with spectacular views. My van is small compared to most RVs here, and the park has mostly longer accommodations, plus tent sites. This park is on a mountain side, so everywhere there's at least some slant, it seems. The clubhouse was closed for renovation. The pool was open by request. The app-pay laundromat was open 24/7, and a payment card dispenser was available as an option. The WiFi worked okay for my usage - I don't do gaming, so I can't comment on that - also I've noticed the signal varied in strength as I moved around the park, and now and then, mostly when I walked down to the office area from up near the sites, I had to reconnect. I-15 is within view and earshot - I find the road noises relaxing, but I know many don't (still most KOAs I've visited are near freeways or highways). Besides campsites, there are cabins for rent. This KOA Journey is open year-round.

We spent the Thanksgiving holiday at this location and rented a cabin. We understand that with the holiday that it would be minimally staffed but we couldn't use any of the amenities. The cabin was great and so was our stay, we just couldn't do much, other than fish the nearby lake. We had two children and picked it because of the heated pool & putting course but they didn't even have clubs. They are also too old for the playground area. We hiked around to keep them busy but I'm not sure we would return. Some other family members asked if anything was open they might join us. We tried to reach them about getting another cabin nextdoor, that was empty, but never got any kind of response the entire weekend.

They sell this place with having wifi dont bother it never worked for mare than 2 seconds before dropping. None of our devices could continually have wifi. Drop your price and stop selling junk. I should get a partial refund but don't hold your breath. It is a good selling feature that is junk. Also zero over the air channels because of location. So no way to get any TV to work. If you like entertainment on your TV bring DVD player because nothing works
