Enjoy picturesque camping as it was meant to be - with lots of trees, a babbling creek, fireflies, a campfire under a starlit sky and all Pull-Thru RV Sites. Located on Historic Route 66, this KOA is less than 1 mile from Six Flags St. Louis and I-44. It's an easy 30 minutes from other St. Louis attractions, including the Gateway Arch, Forest Park, zoo, Missouri Botanical Garden, City Museum, Anheuser-Busch Brewery and Grant's Farm. Stay in a Deluxe Cabin or on a Patio RV Site or Premium Tent Site. Kids love all the activities/amenities, such as the heated pool, gem mining station and new Jumping Pillow. A very nice semi-secluded KOA. I say semi because there is a bridge near one side that is incredibly loud. Outside that it was clean and there is lots to do for young kids if you stay a while. They have a pool and lots of pet areas.

Very nice campground with lots of trees for plenty of shade! Staff was friendly and the ground are very well kept. The bathrooms are a bit dated. The shower looked clean until I got in and discovered lots of soap scum on the shower curtain. The rest of the bathroom was clean. They do a lot of fun activities for families and we were there for their annual Pig Roast! That was a nice treat! It's far enough of the highway that traffic noise isn't a problem, but there is a train rail close by and sometimes the train was a bit loud.

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the entire team at St. Louis West KOA. I made a delivery to them and shortly after, I experienced mechanical issues with my truck. I returned to the office and asked if I could stay there for a while until the mobile mechanic arrived. However, night fell and nothing happened. The next morning, they offered me a cabin and access to the bathrooms to take a shower. The mechanic came, but a part was missing and would arrive the next day, so I had to extend my stay and only left in the afternoon. I interacted with at least 8 staff members, and all of them treated me incredibly well, always with a smile on their face and ready to help with anything. And to my greatest surprise, when I went to return the key and pay, they refused to accept it, saying "You've already had trouble with your truck, you don't need to pay us anything. Continue your journey with care." I work with pick-up and delivery in all states, and I have never been treated so well anywhere else. Thank you so much, St. Louis West KOA team. John 3:16 🙏🏾

The staff here is very helpful and friendly. We had our 3 year old granddaughter with us. The scavenger hunt (you ask for it at the front desk) was lots of fun. We loved finding the items and answering the questions. There is a great pool here and loads of activities each week. Movies each night. Loved it here!

The deluxe cabins were an excellent value for the money. We comfortably had 5 people in the cabin. They had a huge deck attached to the cabin with a table that could seat 6 people and then a gas fire pit with Adirondack chairs for 4. Additionally, there was a fire pit for wood in case you want to use that too. The pool was really large and actually had a good deep end, 8ft. The max drive we had to attractions in St Louis was 25 min and 6 flags was basically around the corner. This is definitely the place my family will stay if we come to stl for family stuff.
