Not impressed when we got there....BUT... We stayed there for a few nights and I must say we greatly enjoyed our stay. This camping is well maintained and the staff excellent. Washroom, toilets and laundry room were clean and Mai tainted clean. Next to the bike Confederation trail (400 Km) ....50 feet at most with direct accest the trail. EV charging...I was able to charge my Tesla using my charging unit to the 50 Amp plug on my camping site.

If you’re planning to camp with a tent, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. The only tent sites here are located right beside a busy, noisy highway, and it feels more like pitching a tent in a parking lot than a campground. The constant traffic makes it nearly impossible to relax or sleep. This might be fine if you’re coming in an RV or trailer and don’t mind the noise, but for tent campers it’s definitely not a good choice.

Loved our stay. We tented and it was a bit noisy from road but not unbearable. Grounds are very nice, clean facilities and the pools, splash pad, canteen were great additions to our stay. Close to town, Greenwich National Park and short drive to ferry. Would definitely return.

Great staff, location, and campground. Best laundry, showers, and washrooms ever. Only complaint they had to dig up site 6 to lay pipe prior to our arrival and trim branches to accommodate trailer heights/air conditioning, which stored up some red ants. We couldn't use the picnic table at all. We even had them switch out table but it didn't make a difference.

Do not camp here if you are in a tent. The tent camping at this site are on a hill directly next to a busy road. Water access is supposed to be at the laundromat, but somehow they forgot to mention that they lock it early in the evening when we checked in. All in all a very poor experience. This campsite should not offer tent camping, it's a real joke

Very nice and clean spot. Near the bay where you can rent kayaks and get seafood. Only problem was that the tenting area was very close to the highway, so it was kinda noisy at night. Would love to come back.

Great campground. Love that it is not crowded with campers. There is tonnes of green space which is so nice. Right on the confederation trail. Grounds are kept nice. Make sure to bring extensions as some of the sites are awkward for hooking up. Stay away from campsite 63/64 (can't remember which one) as they literally burn garbage and plastic all night long. It smells so bad and the embers flew all over our stuff. Was a little weird to have to pay to swim but the pool was nice. Needs a little upgrade on the surround but it did the trick! We loved our stay and will be back again!

Great campsite with the confederation trail right here. We plan to walk with the dogs into town today. Short walk along the trail was enjoyed yesterday. Spacious spots, excellent covid procedures in place.

We are presently 4 nights into a 5 night stay at the St Peter Campground and we are truly enjoying our stay. The campground is clean and well maintained. We did our laundry yesterday and the machines all looked brand new. The wash rooms are fresh and cleaned every morning. Our campsite backs up to the rail trail and St Mary’s Bay giving me an excellent place to walk our dog each morning. The staff are very friendly and helpful and proved good tips about touring the area. Located 40 minutes from Charlottetown do we could go see several shows while in the area. We’d definitely stay here again in the future.
