We had such an amazing stay at the St. Pete KOA! The campground was clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed, but what really made our experience special was Mikey. He went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome and taken care of. From answering our questions to helping us get settled, he was so kind, friendly, and genuinely helpful. It’s rare to meet someone who truly cares about guests the way he does. Thanks for making our trip unforgettable—can’t wait to come back!

Location, customer service, amenities and cleanliness make this KOA a great place to stay. We came in at night and had to back up our rig in the dark. Two employees were there to assist us as spotters and helped us to get into our site safely. The bathhouses were super clean! The park has fun amenities to enjoy and we loved catching the Pinellas trail right from the campground. We rode down the trail and was able to have brunch and later an ice cream treat. The sites here are a little tight but this park is definitely family, kid and pet friendly. We will be coming back again soon.

St. Pete/Maderia KOA was amazing! My husbands been here before and loved his experience so when we were planning our last vacation as a couple before our baby arrives, he suggested we come back here and it could not have been a more perfect experience. The staff is super friendly. Everybody who lives or is visiting on site is very friendly. Everybody waves and smiles. The facilities are clean and very well taken care of. This is a perfect camping getaway. You’re maybe 20 minutes from the nearest beach, there are walk paths, you can rent kayaks and bicycles. The site has laundry, showers, a pool, a hot tub and even a little grocery store upfront!

Great KOA for RVers! location is awesome. May be the best KOA in the state, toss up between here and KOA sugarloaf key. Close, enough to the beach, but still has camp ground feel in the middle of Maderia Beach. many restaurants and stores within driving distance. We were there prior to the last Hurricane which shut them down for awhile, but the grounds at the time were beautifully landscaped. Great staff. It’s directly connected to the old Pinellas railroad which has been turned into a bike and walking path that stretches for miles. Nice Walmart on the way to the beach. In St Pete a few miles back towards the highway is a Portillios Chicago style beef and hotdog joint, which we loved.

This KOA St. Petersburg / Madeira Beach KOA Holiday is top notch. Easy to make a reservation online and Diana (over the phone) was super helpful modifying my reservation as needed. The entire staff is so nice! This location is SO close to beautiful beaches and right on the river. Any shopping needs and dining are within minutes. Many activities for all. Kyaking, mini golf, a pool, bike rentals, hot tub, as well as a well stocked camp store. They keep an exceptionally clean camp ground! Sites are well kept. Quiet in the evenings. Fire pit clean and available for use. We will be back! This is a favorite!

Disappointed from day 1. Pulled into a spot that would have worked for a 25 foot RV, too bad I have a 40 foot fifth wheel. Had to park the truck in the tiny area we had outside next to the rv. Now we had next to no room for enjoying life outside. Then we had some family visit for dinner. We thought cooling off in the pool for an hour prior to eating would be great. They wanted $20/person for guests. $80 if we wanted to use the amenities for an hour! Their amenities are not worth that. Basically your typical KOA though, each one we have stayed at has been a disappointment. This will be our last.

This KOA is definitely very low on the list of parks that I have stayed at. During my stay, I had some issues with the incredible amount of dirt that was constantly circulating in the air, as well as the constant sound of construction. I also had some issues with privacy, as people walking by would inspect my stuff, literally. Definitely won't be back.

We stayed in the single cabins and enjoyed it very much. The staff was very friendly, and the park well maintained. The showers/restrooms were very clean. My only suggestion is to do a periodic deep clean of the cabins. I know it's Florida and the humidity is always present, but the cabin did smell a little too musty/damp. Other than that, I have no complaints. Loved the location next to Pinella's Trail and the rates were very reasonable. We really enjoyed renting the electric bikes. We had a nice long bike ride. Would stay again.

Absolutely amazing stay in the primitive tent location. The KOA staff was amazingly helpful and nice. Plenty of options for kids and while there is a fishing spot, it shares the dock with the boat drop off. Low tide will absolutely destroy any chance of catching anything. Putt-Putt was fun and our 10 year old had a great time... Even if a ball went into the construction area. Absolutely love this place and will think about coming back in the future.
