Nice well maintained and quiet park. We stayed at lower beach in site 1. Pull through with full hookups. Aluminum picnic table under a sturdy metal pavilion and nice shade tree, along with a good view of the lake. Multiple hiking trails around. We really enjoyed our stay.

This place is a commercial beach area where children and dogs can have fun with the family. Its bathrooms and showers are very clean. We have always had a very pleasant time.

My family had an absolute blast! For the first time boating I feel we picked a good lake at that, we had plenty of nice people around willing to help out and give advice when asked. No one was rude or unhappy in any way, everyone truly seemed to be enjoying themselves. The water was a bit chilly but with how hot it gets it definitely isn't a problem at all, the wind can definitely get tough to handle but as long as you prepare well enough for your planned stay you will have a wonderful time as well! Highly recommend it

Nice and easy to get to from US 40. Electric and water at our campsite in the Mountain View campground. Very nice private central restrooms. Easy lake access. Dump station. The only main negative is the winds howl constantly and cause surges in electrical boxes

We reserved the Indian Loop group site for a collecting point before entering into Desolation Canyon for a raft trip. The group site is fantastic. The restrooms are clean the reservation system is easy to use, and the area can easily accommodate six trucks with trailers and rafts on them leaving plenty of room for people to sleep. The water front is beautiful. Nice to get out of the truck and walk around the lake, and kids love to play in the water. The covered Pavilion offers you an opportunity to set up a dinner for everyone or a breakfast before you head out to the river. Park staff is very kind and helpful. Highly recommend this park if you need a collecting spot for people traveling from many different directions. Keep in mind that the production nature of this area means that there is a constant stream of semis on the highway and moving through town. I would recommend bringing some earplugs to help dampen the noise a little at night. The town of Duchesne offers you an opportunity to pick up any last minute items you need or enjoy a nice Mexican dish or other food items. Keep in mind that this lake is Breezy so wind is likely during your stay. Our State and National parks can use all the support they can get right now, so give it a try if this area might fit your agenda.
