Just an overnight stay on our way to South Texas. Customer service was excellent. We needed an extra site due to pulling a trailer for our motorcycles. Sites were side by side with plenty of shade from large trees. Nice walk most of the way around the pond. Highway was noisy but actually helped me get to sleep. Would stay again.

Revised from my previous 5 star rating. The office personal was let go. For good reason. Within 48 hours the office was broke into and the petty cash was stolen. Then they had to be evicted because they wouldn't leave. One of them came back in the middle of the night stole the park ducks. Along with my small dog house. Along with the food I purchased for the ducks. Since then the park is not being being mowed the "trails" are no longer available. No office personal. Having to pay rent online would not be an issue except you must get an invoice by email. That never gets sent. So you must leave messages, and text, numerous times to get it. One resident refuses to leash her black lab or pick up after it. Along with others not cleaning up after their dogs. Its a huge issue. Can no longer get propane filled at the park. So I have to load them up in my car and take them elsewhere. I am now looking for another place to take my rv. Trees are mature and this could be a good place again. The owners are a corporation out of Ca. Not sure if they even care. When rvs pull in for over night stay. They are leaving due to not being able to reach anyone to help them.

It's quiet and beautiful out here!! The people are great! They treat you like family!! The cabin is beautiful and well taken care of!! Fishing in their pond is a must!!

Beautiful place to stay the people are so friendly Greg like is a wonderful worker there. He works so hard to make sure that the customers in everybody’s happy I’ve never seen anybody work harder than him to maintain a good safe place for somebody to live. Highly recommended.

Absolutely Love This Place!!! The staff treats everyone like family, and they have the coolest little lake. We aren't ever bored, if the weather's good we're always in the canoes, paddle boating or renting the John boat with a mounted trolling motor. Stocked with bass, catfish and if you're into carp..... there's some massive ones to hook on to, it's catch and release tho unless it's a carp they let you decide! Lots of people have a side by side or golf cart to ride the trails with or to haul your laundry to their nice recently updated laundry room. Super clean walking trails and smoothe paved roads. The property manager and her assistant will make sure your stay is everything you'd expect if not more . A+ team they are for sure!! Definitely and highly recommend anyone to stay with Stay Awhile, they're the perfect place for peace and clean fun in East TX!

Great place to hang out for a while! Fishing, camping, hiking, propane, etc. I really wish they would open the cafe back up, even if just for breakfast.

Absolutely love the couple that runs this place! Always ready to help out and keep the place running smooth! I will always stay here when I am close! Scott and Jammie always make me feel like I'm at home here!

We are in transit from AZ to FL and needed RV repair before going farher, we found Athens RV and they recommended Stay a While RV park while waiting for parts. Owner of park told us tonight that she would give us tomorrow night free if we needed to stay another night. They all turned our bad situation around. There are still good people out there! And park is nice, full hookup with our 40 ft 5th wheel and very friendly people!

Stayed in rental cabin for a couple of nights. Even though it's between a main highway and a railroad, did not hear a lot of noise from either. Nice lake nearby.
