It’s a fine enough KOA as far as amenities but their bathroom has a code on it so if you come after hours you can’t use the bathroom without bothering your fellow campers for the code or having to call an after hour number which they don’t answer. Also their staff is rude and if you are still packing everything up at checkout time they bother you until you leave. They also threaten to charge you for the next day if you don’t get out at 11 on the dot. It’s very rude and unprofessional. Not hospitable or welcoming I would avoid it and go to Yampa River State Park just down the road. It’s half the price and just as nice.

This is a great KOA no doubt. I love the river front cabins. However prices have increased and with 100 dollars a night on well kept cabins I would think a matress replacement each year wouldn't be to much to ask. It was awfully worn out and flat. Please do better. You could have been five star.

Great place to stay. Employees here are super helpful and friendly. Pet friendly and small dog park - these are must for our furbabies. Full hookups though WIFI sign not strong - could be the area or due to the fact the this was an extremely busy/full weekend for KOA. We have enjoyed our stay and will be back!

Bathrooms got super crowded. But the biggest issue was that I checked out at 10:55am and wanted to pay $45 to rent three bikes. The attendant said I couldn't do it because I couldn't park anywhere in the campground. An additional $45 for an hour of bike rental didn't get me an hour of parking. Disappointed kids and a dad scratching his head wondering why you would do that? Everything else was great. But they need bigger bathroom facilities for the number of campers. And why in the world would they not let someone rent bikes for one hour after they check out?

This is a very busy KOA but amazing if you have a family. Great views and a ton of things to do. Staff was incredible and longer hours then usual. If you like your bigger space and some peace and quite I wouldn't recommend here. Because of the high demand they use every last bit of the campground but because of this we were able to get a last minute reservation. River goes right thru the campground.

This KOA used to be a great place to stay and enjoy steamboat, but it is now under new management this year. They have raised prices and seem to be only focused on extracting $$$ from their customers. Management is rude and condescending to paying customers. Would recommend staying elsewhere! (front desk staff is still nice at least)

Went in 10/21, obviously very few people are traveling this time of year. An employee “speed freak” ambushed me on my way to rent a cabin. Exhausted from driving and camping in the 16 foot trailer. “Speedy freak” quotes me a price of $89 for a cabin with 1/2 shower and 1/2 toilet…not sure what that means…go into the office and I’m told $240.00. I turn to walk out and he says everything else in Steamboat will cost you over $300. Everyone in there was rude! I had just been through SB Springs in June…and actually $120 at the Holiday Inn. Not over $300! I’m new to towing a trailer but after that experience I will never go back to there! Just sayin Travel safe

We stayed here for one night as we were passing through town. We were on a 2.5 week cross-country road trip and this was our least favorite place we stayed. The spot was really tight and we had to walk through another campsite to get to our water hook up. We also backed up to a busy road or highway, so traffic was loud. All in all, if there is no other options you would probably be just fine here, but we wouldn't stay here again.

Love this KOA. Our family has stayed at this site 4 years in a row. Each year the grounds have more flowers and staff is always friendly and accommodating. Our kids find fast friends and it is always a fantastic experience.

Literally the best KOA ever... and we've been to a LOT! The welcome was great and efficient! At night they checked on everyone to see if all our needs were met. You always see staff around and willing to help. Took my kids paddling on the river with the help from the amazing guy (I need to find out his name) that guided us with precise details on how to navigate getting up the river and in the bus!! So happy we were able to stay here!
