Let me be up front and say I haven't stayed here and it may be excellent but beware. While I was going through the reservation process after giving all the specifications of apps for my trailer link slide outs picking a spot that I wanted and then went back to add to cart this is the message that will pop up. And to me that's just a Shameless money grab and I won't do business with somebody that'll employ such tactics. I love going there. It's peaceful and I feel good vibes as everyone does there own thing with boats, fishing, and kayaking. Employees are attentive and cheerful. You can feed the fish on the docks by the Marina store. Kids love it also. It just may be your new favorite getaway. ✨✨✨✨✨

It has been a long time since we have stayed at a lake resort. We decided to stay at Beyonder because of the positive reviews. I can say that we were not disappointed Most reviewers express how nice the staff is. This is 100% correct! All of the staff that we encountered were exceptionally friendly, courteous and helpful. Our stay was for two nights in the middle of the week, so the resort was not busy at all. The downside to that was the restaurant was not open nor the general store, but we understand that this helps with overhead. We stayed in one of the motel units, which was a two room unit called "The Apartment" and found it to be very adequate. Even though the building is obviously older, our room seem to be well maintained. The paint on the walls looked fresh and the flooring was fairly new. These minor things really seem to add to the comfort of a stay, and I compliment the owners for maintaining their property. In fact, the entire grounds of the resort looked to be well-maintained and in good order. The resort advertises free Wi-Fi, however the signal was very weak (at least in our room). We rented one of their Lowe Tritoon boats for a day to enjoy some recreation on the water. The marina is very well maintained and look to have been updated recently. The Tritoon was very nice and clean and we really enjoyed our time on the water. All in all, we were very happy with our stay and we will definitely consider this resort for future stays at Truman Lake.

Can’t give it less because it could be worse. Marina, you think availability. Camp store you think stuff. Been here more time than I care to admit at this point and camp store opened 1 time last 9 months, even though big sign points to motel/camp check in. Marina (bait, drinks, tackle) never open til someone shows up after 7am. Sunrise 5:30. Closes who knows when sometime between 5:30-7pm. Spent many dollars, and the last 9 months, ruined me I’ll go stay at a state park or fed park. Same luxury a lot less money and frustration from expectation being unmet. All these ugh things, it’s turned terrible is since it became beyonder.

We've been coming to the Resort for 20 years. This year was the worst year we have ever had. They wouldn't let us in our room 1 hr. early, because they said the rooms we're clean yet. We sat in the parking lot and never saw a sole clean I no any rooms. Key pads are now on some of the rooms, however they didn't work all the time. Direct TV box and remote in the room, but no one in the office knew how to make it work. I was told to just use my phone for TV. Went to use the shower and the floor mat was sopping wet. When making coffee, the pot hadn't been checked and the was moldy coffee grounds in the maker. The cleaning staff took the dirty wash cloths, but didn't leave clean ones. The club paid to use the Pavilion for our annual cookout, but all of the tables and benches were covered in bird poop. It was the worst stay we've ever had there.

These folks run an awesome resort! I have yet to run out of lake anytime I've been out! Clean docks, the store is well stocked... The food & grog at the Drunken Minnow are great after a day on the water. Chicken tenders and personal pizzas go so well with their margaritas.

The folks at the marina were great to work with and extremely kid friendly. It's a lot cheaper to rent a boat than buy one, if you don't go to the lake every weekend. The folks a Sterett Creek Resort & Marina will take real good care of you, and save you alot of dough with their rental service.

Rented one of Sterett Creek Marina's new Lowe Triton Pontoon boats. Great having a 200 HP on a pontoon. Performed flawlessly. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Just a great experience. Thank you!

I don't know much about the Marina here as I didn't get off the boat while we were fueling it up! I did get to see little kids feed the fish in the fishery tank between the boat and the marina shop/restaurant.

Awesome place to stay. Doing a family reunion over 4th of July week. Ken and Kathy are great owners. Rooms are clean, marina has courtesy boat slips and the Drunken Minnow has the perfect pizza. Our second visit here and will be back all the way from Houston Texas.
