Fantastic place to visit in the summer or the winter! Whether you are just out for a stroll on the paved pathways and bridges or casting a line in the water to take advantage of the catch and release ponds! You will find lots of family fun at West Stettler Park! They host music in the park on Wednesday Nights! They have an awesome park for the little ones! Bench seating all around the paths! And a large hill to Tucker your youngins out! BUT!!! In the winter the hill becomes a staple for all ages looking to sled, carpet, board, or ski!! The hill showcases your most skilled snow pro or the most unskilled fail army candidate. Fun for everyone year round!

Great place to walk, watch the wildlife have a coffee with friends as lots of places to sit.

Really nice recreation area with good size parking lot. It is well used with lots of walkers and runners starting out here as well as children and caregivers / family playing on the two visible play areas - jungle gym and that sort of thing plus the spray park itself. Nice wide pathway stretching out, meandering through nice landscape a few blocks east. At the end it circles around on a return path on the other side. A good little workout or walk would be accomplished to do the entire circle. Washrooms are well attended, cleaned thoroughly every day but weekends I expect - I was here 3 week days in a row. They use a good amount of bleach with water while literally sloshing down all surfaces, including the benches for changing on. Large garbage cans available too. Nice! Next time I take photos 🤦‍♀️

Oh, have I said that Lucky loves his walks in this park, while on his leash. Large family of Canada Geese, and a few Mallard Ducks greeted Lucky along the way. Andrea took some pictures, we'll see if she can share them with us here. Lots of waste bins, groomed with pride! So well maintained. We have a few more days in the area, so that means many more walks for us all!

We love the playground in this park with a lot of options I don't normally see; such as giant tree stumps to climb, a four person teeter totter and 2 huge slides. Also a playhouse. My kids enjoyed climbing the hill nearby as well. I would recommend and as a parent enjoyed the nice clean picnic tables, soft rubber floor to cushion falls, and nearby spraypark as well.

Always Quiet, in town and yet feels secluded thanks to being surrounded by trees.

Not a bad little campground. Nicely situated in town limits.
