Stayed 2 nights for our anniversary just checked out. Stayed in cabin 18 had shower stove, necessities. Super friendly and helpful with any and all issues a beautiful campground. Had amenities we didn't utilize due to weather and time of year nice to see bike rentals and tubes.

Small, quiet campground that we just love. Things are "outdated " but bath house is clean and it's family run so it feels homey. Kids love the play area and funny bikes. Definitely will be returning.

We spent my birthday weekend at this campground and were very impressed. Nathan was very kind to my Fiance William with signing in and even gave some tasty desserts to enjoy. There was a ton of tubes and kayaks to enjoy and restrooms close by. Also it’s quiet!!! Thank you for the great campground, we will be back! :)

A pleasant, clean, comfortable, and quiet camground. Very shaded with lots of trees. A bit dark on a rainy day, but pleasant in the sun. Cabins, tenting, and camper locations. Great pricing. Mid-week discounts! Nice clean bathrooms, warm showers, tubing rentals, and kids playground, perfect for keeping kids busy during camp setup.

Great quiet location, no smoking or alcohol allowed. Made for a decent experience though I use cannabis medically to deal with pain, sleep, and extreme anxiety after a heart transplant so it was a little tough to have to leave the premises to get symptom relief. With that said though it was still a great experience and I totally understand why they have those rules in place! Would stay again.

Reviews and photos were way off. Lots of dirt, old playground, sites hard to get in and out of. Seasonal right next to us with 3 large dogs and six kids. Owner was nice. So much potential. Cut down some trees. Clean up.

Overall this campground is ok-good. We had a cabin by the pond that claimed it had fish. The pond was covered in green algae. My kids did try fishing one time. It didn’t last long. The kids brought bikes to ride. The road to our cabin is too steep to ride bike on and everything is gravel, which can cause easy falls on steep roads. They had a lot of fun with the yard games! We took advantage of the tube rental and went down the Stony creek to Lake Michigan. The Bathrooms are clean, only thing….don’t take a shower or sit too long on the toilet….the timed lights turn off and u will be showering or using the the toilet in the dark😬. I picked this campground bc it was near Lewis Farms, which was our main destination. It is a quiet campground. I was hoping with the location my boys could ride their bikes to fish, swim, and have a good time. There isn’t much good fishing or swimming unless u go by vehicle to where Stony Creek meets Lake Michigan (swimming). They did try fishing at the park across the road but It’s not that user friendly. My kids had fun on the playground, they made up their own games. It consists of older toys. They have a volleyball net, tether ball, swings, tires, a fort like structure, and an old style twirl toy, like a Merry go round. The playground reminded me of the toys I grew up with 😁. The owners are very nice and easy to talk to.

Love this campground . We have been here two separate years 2022, and this year 2024. Our three boys have a lot of fun at the park and they have bikes the kids can rent and ride too. We plan to have another camping trip later this summer . They have clean bathroom and showers.

Stony Haven Campground & Cabins is truly a gem tucked away in the heart of nature. My family and I recently had the pleasure of experiencing their warm and inviting hospitality, and we couldn't have asked for a more memorable getaway. From the moment we arrived, it was evident that this campground is more than just a place to stay—it's a haven crafted with love and care. The serene surroundings instantly put us at ease, and the well-maintained facilities provided all the comforts we needed while still allowing us to immerse ourselves in the beauty of the outdoors. The cabins are a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern convenience. We were pleasantly surprised by the attention to detail—the cozy interiors, comfortable beds, and well-equipped kitchenette made our stay a true delight. Waking up to the sounds of nature and the fresh mountain air was an experience we won't forget. What truly sets Stony Haven apart is the sense of community and warmth that the owners and staff exude. As a Christian family owned establishment, their values shine through in every aspect of our stay. From the warm welcome to the heartfelt conversations, it's clear that they genuinely care about their guests' experiences. We were touched by the little touches that made our stay special, such as the evening campfires where we had the chance to connect with other guests and share stories. The owners' dedication to creating a welcoming atmosphere is truly commendable and greatly appreciated. Whether you're seeking a peaceful retreat or an opportunity to reconnect with nature and loved ones, Stony Haven Campground & Cabins is the perfect destination. The memories we've made here will be cherished for years to come. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for making our stay exceptional. We can't wait to return!

Perfect little campground! We stopped here for some relaxation before heading to electric forest. We got in late at night and the campground host was very welcoming and stayed up for us. Not crowded and we had a lot of space. Very wooded and gets very dark at night. The showers were a close walk. The water warmed up quick but never got hot just warm. Would stay here again!

Great staff and very friendly people. Nice working and clean facilities. Nice location, not to far from Lewis farms, Country dairy and Lake Michigan.

Nothing fantastic. Nice shade, but so much shade no grass can grow. You camp on dirt. Some of the sites are very big and some are very small. We were in 40 and it was very, very small. I've never seen such a wide variation in camp site sizes. Our campsite had burned aluminum foil on the ground and other trash. They obviously don't pick up between campers. Very trashy around the dumpster with abandon bicycles, lawn equipment... junk. Three stars is likely one star too many, but it is a good location.
