Stony Lonesome was planned for my fiance's birthday when they were having a 24 night ride. We had a blast. It even started raining during the night and it didn't hinder our fun at all. There are trails for every experience level and for all ATV, OTV, dirt bike alike. We rented one of the units and were happy with it. They are very plain but no one should expect an Airbnb experience from a park campground surrounded by red dirt, mud and passing riders kicking up dust😊A+++ and ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ no question, hands down.

Outstanding time with the Jeep Jamboree. This was the first place that did not close the park to outside of the Jeep event, but it did not distract with the side-by-side crowd. We loved the campsite. Showers were basic, but got the job done. Very well maintained park.

We tried riding all the trails in the 400 section but some that read green should’ve been marked blue on the levels. Still a fun adventure we had.

The camp ground is awesome. Friendly staff. Very accommodating. Has full hook up,bath houses, and very clean. Even has a car, camper wash. And even storm shelters. A hidden gem. Lots of wildlife and trails. And off road vehicle trails. Small store that's open on weekends. Camping for up to a month.

I really enjoyed my two days at Stony Lonesome. It can be very muddy, but there is a car wash for just 5 bucks at the exit. I came here to run the two Jeep Badge of Honor trails. OnX helps because the signage is a little weak. The map show a few ways to get to the Switchback to Who's Your Daddy, but the only way is trail 501. I spent an hour trying to find the correct trail. Nevertheless I had a great time. The is no free air you have to pay for it at the car wash. Staff was helpful and friendly.

There are a lot of trails for your 4 wheeler, jeep, rock crawler or side by side. We had a great time and didn't even hit half the trails. There are trails from easy to advanced. They have call stations just in case something happens. So buckle up butter cup you are in for a ride.

This is quickly becoming one of our favorite places to ride. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Trails are easy to challenging and are fun. We will be back in a couple of weeks for the night ride. I definitely recommend trying it.

The place itself is great and truly does deserve a 5 star rating. The staff is great and the facility is awesome. Unfortunately, the new wash bays and bath house were closed when we were there (COVID protocols?) But they look like they will be great too. If it has been raining there will always be water on the trails and you need to be careful what line you choose going through it or you can get stuck. And you will most likely get dirty while you are here! Plan for it and bring an extra change of clothes. They have bathrooms you can change in even if the bath house is not open. I have not stayed at any of the accommodations so I can't comment on that. My only concern with going here is that they cannot seem to get a handle on people drinking alcohol. When you drive around on the trails you constantly see beer cans. However I do think that the staff is doing what they legally can to try to control this. I think unless there were a constant law enforcement presence this problem is never going to go away and it's just something that you will always see at off-road vehicle parks unfortunately. It's just something to be aware of and to keep in mind when it comes to being safe and watching out for other drivers while you are there. Especially if you have little ones with you.
