This is a beautiful, well-maintained, 1st rate campground. I was thoroughly impressed with the caliber and quality of the sites. Large clean showers and beautiful heated pool! We will definitely be back!

We recently spent a week at the Rv resort. It was a very clean & well kept campground. The bathrooms & showers were spa worthy!!Michelle who was always available at the camp store was very friendly & helpful! We loved our site F12, but all the sites actually are nice & big. Many have cement patios, no problem being level!! I was able to go in their beautiful pool one sunny day.We would return in the future.Go & Enjoy!!

Sorry, not worth the money. Update: Replying to owners reply. It has nothing to do with the time of year.

Owners are awesome, campgrounds clean, bathrooms spotless and courteous staff. Great place for the family. A real gem. UPDATE!! Money sure does change people. Greedy doesn’t even start to explain what they become. They even changed their once kid friendly playroom into a bunch of money grabbing claw machines and one connect four game hidden in a corner. Not a bit kid friendly.

My family i decided to try this campground out for the 4th of July weekend. WOW we are so glad we did. This resort is a hidden gem. Breath taking views, super modern clean facilities. Spent some time talking to the manager's Bill and his wife they are really nice and super helpful. The owner has done a really good job with the grounds and buildings. Top shelf materials, Pavillion tent area, and the pool was super clean with warm water. We had free BBQ with fries and pulled pork which was really good!. All campers in the community were super friendly and waved when ever we drove by.This resort appears to be doing even more expansions and improvements from the looks of the newly excavated sites down by f15 area. Their was a very magical feeling about this place. We deffinantely will be coming back. There were only a few things we thought would make it even better. The roads are all gravel and shale which create dust and noise. Black top would be much nicer but I understand the significance in cost. When you first enter you must climb a decent size hill that's all shale. I was worried that I'd loose traction due to my fifth wheel being heavy or that I'd have to stop half way up the hill because a car or other camper was parked, but I made it without incident. The last thought was a larger pool and possibly a hot tub would deffinantely throw it over the top the pool can get crowded. But overall we really had a great time here and can't wait to come back. November 23, 2024 34 to 45 degrees yesterday it was snowing. This is one of the best winter RVing spots. So much has changed in a year at stonybrook. They never stop amazing me on constantly putting back into the resort. Concrete pads custom paver stones walls and fire pits. Total luxury in the Poconos!!!!. Stonybrook will always hold a special place in our 💕 Billy & Sonya are also the best hosts ever!!!!!. Check out my winter pic which is posted in photos.

Had a great weekend at Stonybrook RV Resort. They had events for kids' pumpkin carving contest and a site decorating contest.

While we enjoyed our stay at the campground, due to it being off season there wasn't much going on. Maybe in the summer months it is more active. There are a lot of seasonal campsites and that is mostly what you see when you first drive up and they are located at the front of the campground, probably the first 3 levels. The campground is approx. 4-5 levels and there is only one shower house/restroom area and that is at the pool/store area which again is close to all the seasonal sites. While we are not ones to use the public area anyway I just mentioned it for others. They do have decent patio sites and even gravel sites for transient campers but the site we got was not one of them. We had never been before so we didn't know any different until we got there. Do not get sites G1-G3. The sewer is so far at the back of the site that the sewer hose just made it. The electric and cable are on the awning side of the trailer. We had to run our cords under the trailer and through the patio sitting area and at that point it was about 2' from our firepit. We did not ask to be moved as when I booked it for 7 nights it was the only site available so I assumed we would not be able to move anyway. Maybe I should have asked but what an awful set up on those 3 sites. The gravel of the roads is more like coal dark grey type gravel (that's the best I can explain it). It gets everything very very dirty. Whether dry or wet. All in all the campground was quiet and the site other than the hook up was fine. The campground is well maintained and the staff was friendly. It is also a bit loopy to get to and from off of 476. And it is definitely in the middle of nowhere. You will be driving at least 20-30 minutes to get to the nearest Walmart or Jim Thorpe, etc. We don't regret staying here at all. It was a 7 day vacation and we made the best of it. I doubt we would go back mainly due to so it being so far off the beaten path.

A very clean and well-kept site with clean toilets and showers. Everything looks new and modern and you can always see employees taking care of things. But it is not enough to be called luxurious - as advertised on the website. Firstly, the showers and toilets are only available at the entrance on this large site, the rubbish has to be disposed of much further away at the entrance and the WiFi is constantly interrupted. In my opinion, these things would have to be organized a little differently to deserve the name luxurious. Then the heated pool was no longer available and the office is also closed on Monday and Tuesday (September 24th), but the price for the site remained the same. Overall, that is clearly too expensive for all these points.

Park is nice. Spaces are large. No one in office at 2 pm. Most sites appear long term. DO not use GPS direction. One lane dirt road (that is being generous) for 8 miles through the mountain. Staff said it was on their website. Didn't see it on there. Should be in bold letters on the main page.

We had such an amazing Labor Day weekend at Stonybrook! Everyone we encountered was friendly and informative! The food event on Saturday was great! A few seasonal members even invited us to their festival on Sunday. We’ve never experienced anything like it. They set up stations for countries and offered food and drinks related to their country! It was nice to meet so many people at a campground. They genuinely made us feel a part of their group! We cannot wait to go back again!
