Nice lake just no luck catching fish.. water has gone down a lot.

The good: lots of pretty birds on the lake, the covered picnic tables are nice, the sites are a decent size. The bad: it's more expensive than it should be, no staff around if you don't have a reservation and they charge way too much to reserve a spot. The ugly: camphosts just seem to hangout to get a free spit and weren't cleaning a thing! Toilets were bad, trash was everywhere and the gal at the entrance wasn't friendly.

Always fun! Watch out for spiders at the RV sites. Always clean here! There are lots of people. Be mindful! Lake is always a fun time! Always windy and most likely will rain. Be prepared lol.

It's a state park. There were kind of some sketchy people there. Nothing we couldn't handle but just to forewarn others. We would stay there again if we needed to but probably wouldn't go out of our way to.

One Star for the engineers who established the lake. One Star for the Rangers presence. No Star for the battling high winds. No Star for the management of port-a-John’s. After April the Comfort Station opened but was soon broken and the work was abandoned after a visit from repairmen. (It was clean the two times I used it) So the disgusting mess was still necessary and unattended. None of the Port-a-John’s lock and gender signs were questionable. No Star for the incident involving someone parking at the entrance and in a indirect and suspicious manner walking upon my single tent at one o’clock in the morning during a wind storm and the Ranger’s later claim/suggestion it was only Fishermen. I had only stopped an ambush by the activation of my car alarm. Police are slow on arrival. I would at least suggest to plant more trees in the primitive camping area.

Good shelters, grills, pretty clean, got toillets. Good for camping and one day rest. Nothing fancy. Was pretty windy and cold olthough some kids were playing in the lake. Can fishing.

IKAA SWAN

Pros: Family friendly, has a pull through site for RV. More space to do tents by the RV as well. Plenty space for dry camping by the lake. More grass area to play soccer or picnic by. Playground is well maintain. Trash can everwhere hence the cleanliness. Cons: the space between sites are close to each other. At night, if you like to stargazing with telescope, it little harder due to bright light by certain site. You may heard people laugh/ noise from the lake.
