Well maintained! Landed here on a day trip and didn't camp, but there appears to be several nice spots for either tents or camper units. Lovely views of surrounding hills and a nice quiet spot to enjoy the river.

For camping, it's a very nice location; Lovely view. The major problem we had was the drinking water on site, or lack there of. We were told there would be drinking water available, but the pump seemed to be rusted shut. We ended up having to drive all the way back to town to buy water, as we had difficulties finding a place that was willing to fill up our containers.

Great camping spot … VERY friendly camp maintenance team. Would HIGHLY recommend this spot.

Eye Spy

The county needs to do a lot of work at this campground/picnic area. It is overgrown, lacking picnic tables, lots of deadfall everywhere. The playground/picnic area at the front needs trees, there is not a speck of shade in this area. For the amount of taxes people pay this campground is terrible.

Strong Creek is a favorite of ours! The price is right, well worth the long drive up to here! Sure there is no Water, or Power, but we have ways around these tiny inconveniences. One of my Favorite locations to pan gold (but have I ever found any?...). Our dog just loves the area too! Wide open spaces for all!

Stayed here overnight, really nice spot made less so by locals who seem to abuse the free camping available here, pick up your trash and leash your roaming dogs please! River is nice to explore as well as the creek. Can't hear road noise, would definitely stay again, felt very safe here. Lots of shade available as well.
