This was our first time at Stump Island. We came for the Glasgow Small animal swap but will come back just to enjoy. The small animal swap was great and we look forward to coming back for another swap but the park and grounds are amazing. Located right on the Missouri River with beautiful views and immaculate campgrounds. Can’t wait to be back!!

The best fishing access to the river is the boat ramp. There is one small island by the campground you can get out on but very rocky. Bank fishing can be done if you navigate the steep rocks carefully but there are also a lot of snags.
