Great location. Lovely service. Sardine style camping. Definitely not a spot to spread out. Neighbors are not respectful of space either. Trailers backed into others spots, BBQ grills parked over our hookups and canopy's and guy wires riddling our space. If you're not a fan of tight spaces, intimacy with strangers or awkward interactions...maybe skip it.

The things I liked. The staff is friendly and they are always visible on their carts. I noticed that at the last Thousand trails campground that I stayed at. It gives a sense of security and the impression that they care. It’s also in a peaceful area. I do believe this place could be great with a little updating and rule enforcement. The pond was cool. What I didn’t like is. The sites are very small and the campers are on top of each other. My site wasn’t bad but everyone else in my area had no room on their sides. I positioned my camper so when my slide was out it would be about a foot from the line. The campers on my side put their camper in the middle and had no room for the picnic table. The picnic table was right on the line so my slide out was almost even with their picnic table. If I had to check my utility area I had to go around their picnic table on their side. Because of this I probably wouldn’t go back. I have to drive too far and I would be afraid that once there I wouldn’t fit. I know campgrounds need to be profitable just like any other business and that is why the sites are small, so they can fit more in. I am part of the thousands trails membership. I wouldn’t have a problem paying twice the monthly fee for larger site and better kept grounds. Another thing that I didn’t like was many of the seasonal are old and have a lot of junk stored on their lots. It just gives a bad impression of the campground. One of these sites is a water front site and from what I can tell belongs to an employee or at least his family. Put aside the condition and junk on the site, but they have a very aggressive dog. The dog maybe harmless but they leave it tied out side and when anyone with a dog walks by it is barking and trying to get loose. It’s at the end of its lead and knocking things over trying to get at whoever is walking by. My first night there I walked by with my dogs and I could hear him barking and banging off the walls trying to get out. The owners have put a bunch of containers and tarps around the bottom of their camper as skirting and I am sure part of this is to block the sight of the dog. Yesterday a woman was a few sites down and was yelling to the dog to stop and shut up. I have to say it’s not a safe or comfortable feeling walking by their site. I’m a dog lover and I don’t blame the dog. The owners shouldn’t leave him tied out all day and probably shouldn’t keep him there. I would be completely shocked if this is the first time there has been a complaint. Maybe the complaints are staying at the campground and since I believe this dog and camper belong to an employee or his family that it isn’t getting to corporate. I hate leaving bad reviews. I usually just wouldn’t leave one, But as I said I think this could be a great camp ground and that dog is going to be a liability.

I don't normally camp at parks geared towards RVs, but I was meeting some friends and rented a tent site for myself. The tent site required you to park below on the road and bring your gear up a path of rocky steps. The site itself had a small patch about 5x5 that was flat and without massive rocks and roots. There was one bathhouse for the camp with 3 stalls in the women's room. At 7:30 am there was a line of women waiting to use a bathroom. The sites were closer together then any campground I've ever been to. I could hear our neighbors full conversations and smell their weed all evening. Multiple campers up partying and yelling until 2am. Everything was worn down and falling apart. We left after one night. Our friends with an RV who suggested it because they are members and frequent the other locations also left after one day due to the state of the facilities. I could honestly overlook most of these issues but this was the highest amount I have ever paid for a camping site in my life. I paid for an entire week at an oceanfront campground for less money then I spent here for three days. Laughably bad.

I have camped here from tenting to cabins, and had a great time every time, There was so much to do for my grandkids, they were always busy, and when there not something going on there’s always little craft things to keep them entertained , love that paddle boats , and mini golf are FREE!!!!!! The cabins were ideal, cozy like being home, had everything we needed!!! Kim is amazing, and has amazing staff, so friendly and helpful!!! Above and beyond to help if needed, for my family we love it, and I love you feel like your far away!!!!

Great family rustic style campground. Staff was helpful, friendly and greeted us with a folder with information and led to us our rv site which was a full hook up site. Vibrant family atmosphere with people having camping fun. For those who complain, not sure if they thought they were checking into the Ritz Carlton, it’s a campground and a great laid back style campground with a lake, activities scheduled and the rest is on you (how fun are you making your experience) Clean bathrooms /showers. Laundry not working but again camping.

Small park with many over built-up full time camps. Staff were mostly pleasant. Store was rarely open. Indoor pool water was green and filmy. Bathrooms were well maintained. Pumping service provided for sites without sewer connection.

Great friendly staff and tons of amenities. We're thousand trails members so we didn't pay for our stay. The pond is beautiful and many sites have a terrific view. The bathrooms are clean and there's an indoor pool. The hiking trails are lovely too.

A very nice peaceful place to camp. Unfortunately this place had it's day. Today it is a bit run down and it seems the new company that owns it either isn't investing in it or they just don't have the money to do it. it is almost run down enough that a state park would be a better option. I hope they get it fixed up though, the staff is excellent, they do quite a lot for their guests with very little support...

While the park has a lit to offer and the staff could not be nicer, the park needs a complete overhaul and updating. Pool is spacious but old and worn. The entire building needs paint and updating. The hot tub didn't work the entire summer the boats did not have Orr's. They were also dirty.

This place was far from what's shown on the website. When you get there your given a site that's picked for you "this site should be big enough" the guy said. 3 sites later they had one that fit my 27' travel trailer. There is a lot of seasonals that are rude and party until 2am because the park enforces no curfew or rules. This is not a place to take kids, there are too many drunks for this to be anything other than a redneck family campground. I have never been so disappointed to take my family on vacation and advise anyone who values the word "class" to avoid this place.
