The grass should have been mowed. Campground seems to attract a peculiar type of camper, but none of it impacted us. Price is good and campsites have plenty of space.

Campground is alongside hwy with lots of road noise. The camper beside us used his truck for heat, so ran late then very early - so not a lot of sleep. The campground could use a good mowing, then pickup all the little things like butts, pop tops, etc. just enough to catch your eye.

Not the worst place I’ve camped but certainly not the best. You’re right by the main road so there is road noise, although we couldn’t hear inside our trailer. Bathrooms were available but no warm water in showers. Some people “camping” here looked like long term squatters but they did not bother us. Biggest pain was all the stickers/thorns all over the ground that kept getting my dog’s feet and all in our shoes. Very annoying. Location to town is good. Would stay again if needed but certainly wouldn’t be a “must return”.

rude messy campers. most of them seem like long term squatters. tons of flies, stickers that hurt the dog’s toes, and masses of gophers burrowing everywhere. the lake is very low and there is construction work going on that just ads to the ambience. pit toilets and industrial showers and park hosts are nowhere to be found. this place is awful. never again

Let me start by saying it’s HOT!!! During the summer months. Lucky there is a lake to jump in to. Boats to rent including pontoons with slides to rent. Great fishing lake and decent bathrooms and showers. Playground for the little ones and dog friendly. Love camping here.

LMost of the campsites aren’t very well-shaded, but we were lucky to get site #79, which was perfect! The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. There are lots of ground squirrels in the area. The showers weren’t very clean, but we used our own, so it wasn’t an issue for us. The lake is beautiful, and there are various water activity rentals available. As the weather warms up, expect quite a few bugs around.

This was my family’s first time camping, so I was a bit nervous and unsure of what to expect. However, Tule Campground exceeded all our expectations. We stayed at the end of March, and the campground was absolutely beautiful, green, and with perfect weather. There are a couple of playgrounds, plenty of picnic and BBQ areas, and rentals for fun on the water, which made it a great spot for families. Our campsite (#45) was spacious, had a little shade, and was overall a great setup. The bathrooms nearby were relatively clean and well-maintained, though I do wish they had soap dispensers and a more consistent supply of toilet paper. Overall, I would absolutely stay here again! The campground is clean, well-kept, and the camp hosts were fantastic. It’s a perfect getaway for families looking to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Highly recommend!

Fantastic campground. Beautiful scenery, lots of space between campsites and lots of places to explore. Some sites have the water faucet up to 100' away so make sure you check that before picking a spot.

Definitely won't camp here again until management is fixed & I don't recommend this campground. Nancy is very friendly & helpful, the chubby white office lady is rude & not friendly at all, the male park ranger can be lazy at driving around checking everything but he is very friendly & helpful, the older lady park ranger can be rude banging on people's vehicles to wake them up at 6am because she couldn't see their camping slip good enough or yells at campers who reserved online & didn't print their paperwork out & gives campers false information & doesn't go by what the online information clearly states. This place really needs way better employees who do their actual job's & don't abuse staying here for free. They don't keep up on maintenance work at all & then they complain when their paying campers tell them something is wrong like; bathrooms being unclean, having all clogged toilets, having no toilet paper, having unpaid campers blasting music after 10pm, allowing homeless men to follow women & children to the bathrooms, allowing the homeless to hide out in the bathrooms & showers while smoking & doing drug's, allowing certain campers to keep their dog's off a leash to run around freely (even small dog's like chihuahuas can bite), also allowing certain campers to leash their dogs on longer leashes then their suppose to, the water being shut off completely on campers, employees harassing paid campers because they can get away with it. The chubby white older man who drives around in his small white vehicle & lives on the campground is one of the biggest problems. He allows his friends & family to camp free & way over the 14 day's allowed, he allows parties after 10pm, he has harassed a few campers (women & child mainly), he drives around harassing & wakeing campers up before 7am, he has called women & children honey, sweety, sweetheart & sweetcheeks. It is all very rude & extremely inappropriate for anyone to go around calling anyone sweetheart or sweetcheeks (an excuse me works just fine) & of course nothing will be done or addressed about any of this because apparently the rules don't apply to him or to any of the employees here. This campground use to be clean, quite, nice to have a family weekend get together & ran a lot better than it is being ran nowadays.

We stayed 2 nights. Arrived to disgusting toilet blocks and showers. Bugs, mud, huge amounts of hair, toothpaste in sink. Shower floors filthy, drains full of hair. Soap caked faucets. Bugs on walls, spiders in corners. Dirt caked everywhere. We watched site trucks and carts drive around and around but no cleaning was done other than remove some tissue and empty trash cans. The sites are not level and to get to shower blocks you walk along a muddy churned up gravel road or through grass with tons of vermin holes easy to twist an ankle. This is by far the most disgusting campground we have ever stayed in 18 months of travel.

If there were a “cleanest restroom” nomination Success Lake Campground would definitely get one! It’s so clean and nice freshener is used. Well maintained, clean, spacious area with hi-speed internet. A little sad in the end of November as the water level is very low. Otherwise, beautiful place!

Clean and safe. Good people
